I can't believe how well ADT is doing lately. I mean, I guess I've put a lot of work into it, and it's been about a year since I started writing it and posting it places, so I shouldn't be surprised - and yet I am. The fact that people like this little fanfiction that turned into a monster just makes me feel so good. I get the warm fuzzies. :)
I promise I'm working on the next chapter. My migraines have been pretty bad the past couple of days, bad enough to limit my writing, which is annoying.
Also, fun fact, I just resigned from my job - or put in my 2 weeks' notice, anyway - because I can't keep putting my coworkers through all the call-outs when my migraines act up. I've been on FMLA since September 2022, and nothing's getting better. My last application for disability was denied because my new migraine specialist doesn't do disability paperwork, and unless she fills out the FMLA paperwork, the time I was out waiting for disability to be approved or denied won't be protected... And I know she won't fill it out... So, basically, it's resign now or be fired later.
*sigh*
I guess I really need to look at monetizing my writing, since I've got a lot of readers now on various platforms, but I'm just not comfortable with that. Writing has always been a fun hobby for me, and I post it for other people to enjoy it, so... I mean, it'd be great if I could make money from it, but I don't know how to go about doing that, especially since this is a fanfiction. Guess I'll think about it. In the meantime, back to writing the next chapter of ADT.
