Chapter Six
Harry saw Hagrid talking to wizards.
'That's Harry Potter', one of them said.
'I saw you were with your wife. You wore a grey hat, and black robes', Harry said. The old wizard smiled.
'Yes, that was a long time ago'.
'Come on, Harry. We got shopping to do'.
Harry nodded.
'This is Diagon Alley. Watch your step'.
Harry watched Hagrid, and he saw a magical place, where child wizards, and witches, were paying for books, and robes, as well as brooms. 'Where shall we go?', Harry asked Hagrid.
'Well, there's Madam Malkin's Robes for All Occasions, for a start. And Ollivander's Wand Shop for wands. And Eeylops Owl Emporium for owls. They're smart animals Harry', Hagrid explained.
'I'll get what I need. And the books'.
'Good. I got to go. I'll meet you soon at the train station'.
'Good bye, Hagrid'.
'Good bye, Harry'.

Harry went to the owlery. He saw a snowy female owl. A witch appeared. 'There's one who you'd like. Her name's Hedwig', she said. Harry nodded. The owl was beautiful, and in a cage. 'How much?', he asked her. 'Three sickles', she answered. Harry paid for the owl, and waved at the owner. And he got his books for year 1. He already wore his black robe.
A girl appeared near him.
'You're Harry Potter. I'm Hermoine Granger'.
'Uh, yes', he said,
'I read about you in Hogwarts: A History, and Dark Witches and Wizards of the United Kingdom'.
'I don't see why I am famous'.
'It's because of You-Know-Who'.
'Lord Voldemort'.
'You know his name'.
'I had a dream about him. Let's head onto the train'.
'Good idea', Hermoine smiled.
They raced towards the carriage, and got in.
The middle-aged train conductor blew his silvery whistle, and the Hogwarts Express headed towards Edinburgh, Scotland from London, England.
It would be several hours before they got there.
