Kierra's POV
To say I was shocked was an understatement. Why the fuck does Leo have a separate room in his bedroom filled to the brim with guns and knives?
I looked around the room, especially at the guns. In the mafia, even though I was still a student at university, being a mafia princess meant knowing how to defend yourself. As a result, when I was a little girl, the guards at home used to teach Eli, Joshua, and me to defend ourselves, and they taught us how to use guns and knives. As we grew, we each had our specialties. Joshua was best at handling knives, especially when we tortured people, while Eli was more on the side of technology. He was one of our best hackers, if not the best. I, on the other hand, turned out to be amazing at handling guns. I rarely missed my targets and was always sharp with my shots.
I heard a door close again and turned around to see Leo standing in the doorway of the room, looking at me with a worried expression. We quickly went out of the room, and he closed the door of the weapon room, and then his bedroom door. I sat on his bed, still shocked, and he started pacing in front of me.
"Oh, fuck," he muttered under his breath while still pacing. "Shit, shit, shit."
"W-why do you h-have a weapons room in your room?" I asked him, still extremely shocked, and now a bit scared. I mean, think about it. What kind of person has a weapons room in their bedroom? What if he was a serial killer or a murderer or something? What if he's some psychotic criminal? Wait, what's wrong with me? I'm kind of overthinking this now. Why would he befriend me if he's just a serial killer? Did he become friends just to kill me?? Take a deep breath, Kierra.
He looked at me again and took a deep breath as well as he sat next to me on the bed, and he then took my hand in his and looked at me straight in my eyes. I should be moving away from him, yet here I am just sitting. What the hell is wrong with me??
"Well, Ki, I didn't want to tell you this..." he started. "I'm in the mafia. The leader of the Italian Mafia, to be exact. And that weapons room is there for me, in case some enemy was to come here." He finished, and looked at my face, probably looking for some signs of something. Fear, most likely.
However, I wasn't scared at all. It was probably the exact opposite. He was the leader of the Italian Mafia. Wait, didn't Eli say we created an alliance with him?
"Kierra? Are you there?" he asked me. "Look, I wouldn't tell you, but I trust you. And I get if you don't want to hang out anymore, but-" I interrupted him by placing my finger on his lips.
"Leo, I'm okay. And I'm not scared of you. I get why you would've kept that a secret." I told him softly and saw how his expression had softened. "There is something I have to tell you though. I'm the mafia princess of the American Mafia." His eyes widened a bit at this, but he relaxed again.
"Wait, what? You're the mafia princess?" he asked me, still surprised. I nodded and saw how his shoulders slumped a little, like a weight had just been lifted off his shoulders. "You created an alliance with the Americans, didn't you?" I asked him. He nodded in reply. "Yes, I did. I thought it would be a good idea for the top two mafias to get together instead of them being against each other," he said, while still looking at me.
We stayed quiet for another two minutes, and I could feel the awkwardness in the air. "So, what now?" I asked him. "Well, I think everything is fine now, and neither of us is keeping secrets anymore. One main thing though, neither of us can tell anyone about the mafia. What do you think?" he asked me, with a small smile.
"I think that's a good idea," I replied. "Alright, well wanna go back to others?" he asked me, and I nodded. We both stood up and walked back to the others.
We watched another movie, ordered some pizza and we all had tons of fun. After a while though, we all got tired, so we crashed at Leo's place, as it was too late to go back to our apartments now. It must have been around four in the morning. Lexi and Tony went to the guest bedroom, while Hayley and Enzo stayed on the sofa. Leo and I went to his bedroom and we all slept for a while.

I woke up after some time and saw Leo next to me, still sleeping. I put on some slippers and went to the bathroom, and did my business. When I got out, I went to the guest bedroom and saw Lexi and Tony sleeping together, and I smiled a little. They were so cute, and they weren't even together yet. I then went to the living room and saw Hayley and Enzo sleeping on opposite ends of the sofa, with blankets draped over them.
I was hungry, and I was pretty sure the others were too, so I headed to the kitchen and looked through the cupboards for something to cook. I found a box of pancake mix and dumped it all in a bowl. I added some eggs and milk and mixed it all up. Then I found a frying pan, and added some of the pancake batter into it, making a circle shape. While the pancakes were frying, I melted some chocolate, chopped some fruits up, and added them both into two separate bowls. After all the pancake batter had been used up, I placed the pancakes into six separate plates, and while I put all the dirty dishes in the sink, the others had woken up and seated themselves on the dining chairs.
They grabbed the plates and added whatever toppings they liked, and I watched as they all ate it. "Wow, that's good. Ki, you made this?" Leo asked, smiling while he asked me, and I nodded. We all ate and I cleaned the dishes that were in the sink. "So, what you girls gonna do today?" Tony asked once they had finished eating. "Well, we were planning to go to the mall today, and just hang out there. What about you guys?" I replied. "We are just going to play some games, probably, and order some pizza for lunch," they replied.
We all talked for a while, but I saw Leo texting someone for a while, and then I saw it was Maya. Well, she's already started coming after him, hasn't she. I sighed, but I was also mad for some weird reason, even though I didn't understand why. I mean, if she was texting someone else, I probably wouldn't care, but why do I care if she texts Leo? I was also annoyed at him for texting her, even though he could text whoever he wanted.
Lexi, Hayley, and I left for our own apartments to change into something else. I looked through my closets for something to wear. I chose a puffy, white off-shoulder blouse, and some blue jeans. I put on some white sneakers and grabbed a small bag as well.
I met Lexi and Hayley at the mall, and we spent a few hours just hanging around, and shopped at a bunch of stores. We had some lunch at the food court and just had fun for a while.
While we were looking for some clothes at Forever 21, I noticed a man had been following us for a while now. He looked kind of sketchy, with a plain black shirt, black jeans, and a black baseball cap as well. Oh god, he's from a mafia. I could see a tattoo on his arm, and that was the signature tattoos of one of our rivals, but I couldn't exactly tell which one from this distance.
Okay, this is bad. How the fuck am I supposed to stop him when we're at a fucking mall? I can't shoot him, obviously. I called Leo quickly, trying not to act suspicious.
I heard the phone ringing a few times. Come on, Leo, pick up. I was still annoyed with him, but I needed him right now.
Leo: Hey Ki. What's up?
Me: Oh, thank god you picked up. Leo, I need your help right now.
Leo: Why, what's wrong? Where are you?
Me: We've been at the mall the entire time, and I noticed this guy following us for the past 3 hours. I don't know what I'm supposed to do because I can't fight or shoot him when we're in a goddamn mall!
Leo: Shit! Okay, hold on for a few minutes, and I'll be there with the guys as soon as I can. Whatever you do, don't shoot him, and be careful.
Just as he said that he hang up. I looked around discreetly, and saw the guy again, glancing at me every now and then.
Come on Leo, hurry up, please.
