"Kashino!" Nikiro made his way over to Kashino who stood up to hug him. Sin watched awkwardly as they embraced.
"Been a while huh?"
Nikiro laughed. "Yeah, It has been."
Kaimi walked up to them and poked her brother's cheek.
"This one's been sulking at the pond for a few days now so its good you came when you did!"
Kashino blushed, shooing her hand away. Nikiro laughed again and pecked him on the cheek.
"Awe. I missed you too. Oh! That's right! There's someone I wanted to introduce you to! He's-" Nikiro turned around, expecting Sin to be behind him but he turned only to find himself pointing at thin air. "Not here..."
Kaimi tilted her head in confusion. "Huh? But he was with us when we walked up here! Where could he have gone?"

Back down on the beach, Hideki had brought Illya and the other adults to the boat shop to introduce them to his wife. He spoke to her first, leaving the others at the dock. When he was finished he called them over. Hideki's wife was a young woman about the same age as Illya. Her long curly hair floated around her like a lion's mane and to top it all off, stunning turquoise eyes that looked like the tropical sea had pooled right into them.
"Hi, there! The name's Chiyakuya! Nice to meet ya!"
She shook Illya and Tekina's hands with great vigor. It was clear where Kaimi got her bubbly energy from. Callisto gave her a nod and she nodded back.
"I hear you fought with Hideki. Sorry about that. It's just that it's only us in this secluded village and Hideki's already experienced issues with hostile invasions so we're very protective of our life here."
"Don't mention it." Said Callisto.
He went on to explain their situation. They sat on the small canoe and chatted while they waited. Avarice had come out of the hut and was poking around the shore when he spotted Sin flying down from the mountain. Sin sped down the beach with his head down. His unusual downcast demeanor worried Avarice, although he'd never admit it. Avarice hurried over to him to see what was wrong.
"Whats the matter? You weren't gone for very long." He said.
"It's nothing. Nikiro is up there with his boyfriend. Since they haven't seen each other for a while, I thought I'd give them some privacy is all." He said with an irritated frown.
Avarice frowned as well, a silent "oh" forming at his lips.
It wasn't long after Sin had come down from the mountain that a figure could be seen approaching the village entrance. Callisto was the first to notice.
"Hey. Is that her?" He asked.
Hideki turned around and stood up once he saw the approaching figure. "Yeah, that's her."
They all got off the boat and walked towards the woman. She cocked an eyebrow in surprise as she arrived.
"Rare for you to have guests." She chuckled.
"They ain't guests. They're here for you." Hideki said as he watched her unpack the share of medicine and various talismans that she had collected for him."
"They said they're from a country called Solaria. Said they heard about you from a boy named Tobi."
The woman's head shot up. "Tobi? You know my son! How is my baby boy?"
Illya nodded. "Yeah. He works for me. Nice to meet you. My name's Illya. I'm the Empress of Solaria."
The woman shook her hand. "Nice to meet you too. My name's Bellany. Thank you for taking care of my son, I hope he hasn't been causing too much trouble."
Callisto, who was steadying Illya as she stood, chuckled. "Oh, he's no problem at all. He's been getting along well with our kids!"
Bellany smiled. "That's good to hear. Now, what was it that you came all this way to find me for?" She said as she finished unpacking Hideki's goods.
Callisto and Illya looked at each other. "It's about our daughter. My wife gave birth a few days ago and uh...it was...a complicated birth," Callisto explained.
Bellany put her hands up in front of her, waving. "Hold on just a minute. First of all, we need to sit you down! You can explain the rest once we get you settled"
Illya, who had become exhausted due up to her prior fight and harrowing labor, let herself be pulled away by Bellany, who brought her to the hut they were originally in, to rest. Chiyakiya brought Illya some water and Callisto helped to prop her up on the hammock. Normally Illya would be on very high alert, even in this situation, but she could tell Bellany spoke genuinely and her cherry smile and gentle helpfulness lead her to believe that she wouldn't hurt her. So Illya listened to her quietly.
Outside, Avarice stood with Sin, trying to distract him with various shells and rocks he could find scattered across the beach. It wasn't entirely as useless as it seemed though. Sin couldn't help but feel a little fuzzy inside, in seeing his little brother try so hard to cheer him up. Sin was a very volatile person. His moods could change at the drop of the hat and when it did, he always felt it at its extreme. Whether he was really happy, or really sad, there was no in between. Unfortunately for them, Avarice's progress didn't last long.
"Sin! Where'd you go! You just up and left, I was worried."
Sin's face went pale and Avarice shot up with a panicked expression. Sin turned around very slowly. Almost as if to give himself time to try and make his expression somewhat believable.
"A-Ah! Sorry about that. I wasn't feeling too well so I came back down here."
Nikiro frowned. "Are you okay? What's wrong?"
"I'm fine now! I guess I was probably just really tired..." Sin laughed nervously.
Nikiro didn't look too convinced but he decided to drop it anyways.
"Well if you're sure you're fine then I guess it's okay.
He put a hand on Kashino's back and pushed him forward slightly.
"Kashino, this is the guy I wanted you to meet. This is Zur-Sin."
Kashino flashed a toothy grin and stuck his hand out for Sin to shake.
"Nice to meet ya!"
Sin stared at Kashino's hand for some time, earning himself some worried glances from everyone. Avarice stepped in and patted Sin's back.
"Haha! Sorry, he must still be feeling a little unwell, I'll take him to back to our mom to see if she can help. Come on Sin!"
Avarice grabbed his brother's arm and began pulling him towards the hut Illya was in, leaving behind a very confused Nikiro and Kashino.

Avarice whispered.
"I know...I just can't wait till we leave." Sin sighed.
Of all the things that had gone wrong during their trip, it seems that Sin was at least going to have this wish granted. When they walked into the hut, Bellany had finished checking Illya out and was rummaging in her bag to make sure she had everything.
"Oh! Just in time. Would you mind going and getting Nikiro? We're just about ready to leave." Said Sora.
