The entire ride over there, Sin did his best to avoid Nikiro. At some point, he noticed that he didn't even have to try because Nikiro had completely stopped trying to talk to him. Sin would be lying if he said it didn't hurt a bit, but it was what he wanted right? When they arrived in Haan, everyone got off the ship and began making plans of where they wanted to go first. Illya began leading all the parents off to one of the little areas to get food and Astrid pulled Tobi along up the long staircase. The princes and the others climbed the stairs after them. It was very obvious that the residence was Illya's. The huge statue of her at the top of the stairs made it hard to say otherwise.
Sin wasted no time in pulling Dez away. Avarice decided to wander off on his own and Ea and Ri-is took Yukimi and Tah Min for a walk in the gardens. Nikiro and Kashino were left to their own devices so they decided to go explore.

Sin and Dez had gone to one of the inner chambers. They sat drinking and talking for a while. They were very much drunk at this point.
"Why don....you jus...just talk to him?" Slurred Dez.
"I'm not trying to cause trouble for them." Sin laughed a bit and poked Dez's cheek. He found he was kind of grateful that she had a lower alcohol tolerance than him. Otherwise, he might not have been able to see such a cute side to her.
"I'm not saying that...th...that you're trying to cause trouble....buuh...but you're going to have tah...face it eventually!"
Sin remained silent. Even in her less than coherent state, he knew she was right and he was just being childish. Dez soon began to fall asleep. Sin helped her up and called for one of the servants to send her to her room. He stayed to drink for a bit more. He was enjoying his time alone when a knock came at the door. He shifted slightly and glanced over his shoulder. Kashino stood leaning on one of the walls. Sin groaned and turned around.
"Hey. Can I join you?" He said, walking closer.
"If I say no will you leave?" Said Sin, taking a swig of his drink.
"Nope." Kashino took a seat next to him.
Sin glanced at him through the corner of his eye. He could feel the award tension in his bones. He tapped on the bottle of alcohol in front of him.
"Want a drink?"
Kashino shook his head. "I'm seventeen. Don't drink."
Sin choked on his drink. "Seventeen? You're not even legal yet! Guess he's just into younger guys." The depressed tone in his voice was unmistakable.
They fell into awkward silence. Kashino stared at Sin for a moment before speaking up again. "Look I'll just cut to the chase. Do you have feelings for Nikiro?"
Sin put his drink down. The very last thing he wanted to think about now was that. In fact, he thought he was doing a pretty decent job of forgetting it and felt maybe soon things could go back to normal. But Kashino's question made everything he was feeling resurface and he panicked.
"Now that's not any of your business is it?"
"If it has to do with my boyfriend then yes. It is my business." Kashino fired back.
Sin straightened up and responded with irritation of his own before downing another glass."I'm not tryna steal your man if that's what you're implying here."
"Oh, I know. Nikiro would never let that happen. He's loyal. The last person I'd picture him with is some dude who'd chase anything and everything just to satisfy himself." Kashino genuinely walked in there, not trying to start a fight, but Sin's attitude lit a fire under his skin and in and true to his warrior nature, he pushed back.
Sin went silent for a moment and a vague air of victory surrounded Kashino. It wavered ever so slightly by the sound of shattering glass. Sin had crushed the glass in his hands and in a fit of rage, slammed the shards down on the table. The adrenaline rushing through his head prevented him from feeling the pain of the glass piercing his skin. The small scarlet pool that trickled out from beneath his hand did nothing to alert him to his injury. His eyes were focused on Kashino and in them, daggers.
Kashino stood up when he saw Sin do the same. It was less because he wanted to and more out of instinct.
"So what? Because you think I'm some back alley whore, I can't associate myself with your precious boyfriend?"
Kashino scoffed. "You said it, not me."
Without missing a beat, Sin reached out and grabbed Kashino by his throat. Kashino instinctively pushed his forearm up against Sin's throat to try and keep some distance between them.
"If you're so worried your man will leave you for some foreign whore, why don't you talk to him instead of wasting time here?" Sin spat.
"Deaf too? I already told ya that ain't what I'm worried about. What I'm worried about is how you're messing with his head! All he's been worried about, thinking about, even talking about is you! Either talk to him or cut things off clearly."
Sin let go of Kashino's throat as he pushed him away harshly.
"Obviously you're the one with an issue here. If it bothers you so much, you talk to him. Don't make me do the dirty work to cover up your insecurities." Sin spat back
Kashino felt his eye twitch and in a rush of anger made the blood in his veins boil, he lunged at Sin. He had his arm at Sin's neck and Sin's back pressed up against the counter.
Kashino began to raise his voice, not quite on the level of a screaming match but it was loud nonetheless."I'm the insecure one? I'm not the one that runs away every time a serious conversation comes up. Next time you feel like trying to deflect because you can't handle the fact that you so obviously have feelings for a taken man, maybe find some other guy's boyfriend to fuck with! That's what a man whore does best right?"
Without uttering a word, Sin sent his fist flying into Kashino's face. Had he been expecting it, it wouldn't have made him topple over. But he wasn't, so it did.
"I don't expect a little kid to understand shit about what I do and why I do it." Sin's voice had dropped significantly from it's prior volume to a shrill tone of seriousness. The atmosphere around him was intense enough for any innocent passerby to choke to death on their own breath.
Kashino, not being one to cower in the face of a fight, lashed out at Sin once again. He kicked Sin's leg out from beneath him, causing the man to tumble to the ground. Once Sin was on the floor Kashino rolled himself on top of Sin and began assaulting him with a barrage of punches that were far too weighty for a man his age. Sin was able to block most of Kashino's punches, which only served to anger him even more. When he found an opening, Sin reached up and yanked Kashino back down onto the floor. A blaze began forming at his fist and Kashino braced for impact, but it never came. Instead, Sin had smashed his fist down next to Kashino's head. It's dangerous proximity would be enough to melt his skin if Sin didn't get rid of the flames at the last minute.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?"
Sin's face went white. The sound of Nikiro's distraught voice made both of the men freeze. Within the blink of an eye, Nikiro was already at their side, prying Sin off of Kashino. Nikiro bent down next to Kashino and helped him up. Kashino dusted himself off and turned his head to Nikiro to assure him he was fine. When he turned, however, small cuts could be seen on the side of his face where debris from Sin's punch had ricocheted off of his face.
"What the hell was that Sin? I knew you were acting kind of weird lately but this is just too much!"
Sin stood up angrily. "I'm not the one who went looking for a fight," he said calmly.
"I'm not the one who threw the first punch," retorted Kashino.
They glared at each other like children, but neither said anything after that. Sin knew he had lost it...again. The look in Nikiro's eyes made him feel small and an overwhelming urge to run and hide filled his head.
"What happened?" Asked Nikiro.
"Are you gonna tell him why we were fighting or are you going to make me do it?"
Sin glared at Kashino as if to say "Don't you dare!" Yet he did not act on it. Sin simply turned around and walked out of the room, doing his best to avoid Nikiro's gaze. Sin's silence had him at his last straw and he made the decision to do something he would have preferred not too. As Nikiro and Kashino watched Sin's defeated figure retreat from them, Nikiro knew that this had gone on long enough.341Please respect copyright.PENANAjHSyB8X9BU
