Everyone had loaded their gear into the three SUV vehicles and then departed for Yosemite Park.
They arrived and parked the vehicles within a camping area deep into the woods and started to assemble their camp gear.
Brian said, "Let's gather everything we're gonna need for an extended overnight stay. Get the tents, water bottles, stoves, lanterns, flashlights, and anything else you can think of."
Karla grumbled, "You're so cocky and bossy, Brian. Who voted you trail leader?"
Micheal intervened, "Please don't start that again, Karla. Why can't you just enjoy this beautiful, wide-open forest?"
Brenda chimed in, "Yes, listen, Karla. You are such a drama queen. Just chill out. I hear that there are also some breathtaking waterfalls near this trail too."
John offered to help Karla with her equipment, to which she agreed. So, John and Micheal loaded the two Yamaha Kodiak 450s with the gear, and they were all set to embark on their adventure.
As they continued their journey, Brian and Karla were busy packing food supplies, bedding, water, and other camping gear.
Finally, the group reached a clearing between some large trees, and Brian announced, "Hey, this looks like a good place to hold up. Unpack the gear, people."
Micheal agreed, "Alright, I agree. Let's unpack these ATVs and set up the tents."
After the tents and gear were unloaded and placed in the clearing, Karla decided to take a break next to a sturdy cedar tree.
John cautioned, "I think we should stay together. There are some large game around here, and some are big predators like bears and mountain lions."
Karla, who had grown up in the woods, replied, "Don't you think I can handle myself? I'll catch up with you guys in a minute."
John said, "Okay, just be careful."
As Karla relaxed near the base of the cedar tree, she stopped, suddenly sensed something lurking nearby. It had her nervous and she watched the woods closely.
Suddenly, a loud noise echoed through the forest. It seemed like a deep growl. Karla was startled and yelled, "What was that?"
Brian reassured her, "Don't worry. It's probably just a bear, and it sounds like it's quite far from us. Nothing to be afraid of."
However, the strange growling continued, and Brenda was quick to point out, "That doesn't sound like a bear. It's different."
Brian, "Hey, you guys are getting paranoid!" It's just a bear, nothing to be afraid of people.
Karla, feeling increasingly concerned, asked, "Who said that?"
Brian replied, "I did. We are losing daylight, guys. Let's keep hiking to the falls before nightfall."
After walking for an hour, Micheal's stomach began growling. "Man I'm so hungry I could eat a horse!" Brian laughed, Yeah, I just might eat that bear if he comes around...
Karla, "Well I have decided to stay put and rest, you all go ahead without me."
Brian said, "Okay, then let's move out, people."
As they continued their journey, Karla once again felt a strange and eerie presence in the forest, making her feel uneasy.
Suddenly, Karla felt both her feet being tugged, and she screamed, violently struggling to break free from the unseen grasp. It was as though the roots of the trees themselves were coming to life and trying to drag her down.
"Help! Help me!" Karla screamed, her fear escalating.
Brian heard Karla's cries for help and rushed back to her, trying to free her from the sinister clutches of the forest.
Karla's pleas for help echoed through the dark forest, and her friends raced to her location.
John and Brenda, followed by Brian, made their way towards the source of Karla's desperate cries.
As they reached Karla's side, they seen her being carried away by a giant Bigfoot and she was being pulled towards a gaping cave hidden among the trees.
Brian yelled, "Karla, Karla! I'm coming!"
Karla's voice trembled as she replied, "Brian, is that you? Help! Help me, Brian!"
Brian yells, "It's those dangerous Super soldier Bigfoots that are running all over the country attacking everybody.
"Even the damm government!"
"Let's get them!"
But Karla cries were becoming more and more distant
Brian was getting more desperate as he tracked the beast. Did it kill Karla already? I really love her even though she gets on my nerve at times. "Man!" If something happens to her I'll never forgive myself.
The tracks were now less visible in the fading light, and the ground became more rocky, making tracking the monsters footprints difficult to follow.
Ok,
he didn't want to reveal it, but now he had no choice. Karla's life was on the line! Brian was born a mutant. He was born with powers of lightning, teleportation, unusual strength and telepathic abilities.
Everyone knew that there were mutants, but Karla wasn't aware that he was also one of them. Brian said aloud, "Oh, I can see the local news now."
A local mutant boy saves his girl from Bigfoots...He drew upon his powers of Telepathic neurons, connecting to Karla's mind.
"Karla!"
This is Brian!
Karla whirls around inside the cave fully expecting to see Brian standing there...
"Brian!"
Brian, where are you and how did you get inside here?
"Oh Brian, you're here!"
And she fearfully runs towards the back of the dark cave away from the giant Bigfoots hoping to be rescued.
But, there was no Brian..."Karla I am not in the cave with you." I am speaking using my telepathic abilities.
"I am a mutant!"
Karla stops running
in astonishment...
"What!"
"What do you mean that you're a mutant?" You mean all this time that we've been dating I had no real idea of what you actually were!
"A Mutant?"
"Oh hell Brian, I don't care, just come get me away from these evil, horrible beasts!"
"Karla!"
Your emotions are high and are interfering with
my ability to locate you...
"Ok, Brian,
Karla cried, "I will try but you need to get here quick, I'm half out of my mind with fear!"
"Hurry!"
"Karla, I think I got your location, hang in there
honey.
"I'm coming!"
Brian teleports inside the dark cave but had no idea where Karla was inside. He projected another form of his lightning powers and casted beams of light into the cavernous opening...
Suddenly, he spots one of the Bigfoots.
Brian couldn't shoot lightening bolts with full impact.
So he shouted, grabbing the terrible beast by it's neck. His powers causing it to fall to the earth in convulsions.
As it laid on the cave floor in it's agonizing death throes. Another creature seeing his mutant powers, glides over to Karla and snatches her away.
Then suddenly, a blue portal opens and all the Bigfoots along with the creature and Karla disappear inside of it.
"My God," cried Brian, they have technology too? But, he teleports right behind them to their new point in time. Upon arriving he is astonish to find new creatures, some type of alien looking beings.
They attack him with vengence unrelentingly.
"Arrgh!"
The aliens were firing at him with pulse beam weapons. So, he formed a intense shield of lightening around his body. But the sheer effort that it required was draining his strength rapidly...
