"It's a Bigfoot!"
I was yelling and hollering, running past my wife to our truck...
"Run!"
"What?"
Helena said, "Honey
come back here, where are you going?"
Roar----roar---
roar!
"Get the heck out of there Helena!"
Didn't you hear me, it's a Bigfoot I yelled from the truck as I locked the door shut...
[Well, people said that I wasn't exactly the courageous and bold Arnold Schwarenegger
type, in terms of bravery.
Anyway,
we had been camping out in the beautiful forests of the wild and pristine Appalachian mountains.
And set camp on top of a grassy Hill...
We had set up about 300 yards from a clear mountain lake and after putting the tent up and cooking dinner we went to bed...
In the morning I decided to search for some brook trout and kissed my wife as I hiked down a game trail to the lake...
Knock, knock,
knock, knock, knock!
I stopped, what was that? I clearly heard the sound of someone knocking against a tree.
"Hey!"
Who is that, I yell, what are you doing?
In response, all I heard was some loud indecipherable words and chattering...
"Hey, are you Japanese people?"
No answer came...
I thought I heard an owl hoot or two but anyway nature was calling so I squatted down behind a large cedar tree to do my business...
Roar, roar----!
The sound was so loud it completely startled me and I tripped over, falling on my bare buttocks.
"Ouch!"
I quickly got to my feet, pulling up my pants and brushing leaves off of my rear end. What was that I wondered? Looking around, I seen a big black dude glaring at me.
His large eyes were fierce and appeared to be glowing red. "Hey dude you shouldn't go around scaring people like that!"
He didn't say a word, only making some sort of grimace and scowling...
The big dude was only thirty yards away so I began walking in his direction, suddenly it stood up and up and up...
Jesus!
It stood 10 ft tall, it's not a man, my God it's a Sasquatch...
A big hairy Bigfoot!
My knees buckled causing me to fall again, I think I must have scream because a startled look flashed across his face..
As I ran past my wife, I looked backwards to see if it was chasing me, but only rustling and heavy thumps in the thick bush was heard...
"Bigfoot, Bigfoot, save yourself honey!" She yelled, "There's no such thing as a bug-foot Tucker!"
"Not bug-foot, Bigfoot, Helena, get out of there now!"
My heart was faint and I was gasping for air when I reached my old Ford truck...
Thank you lord, I was safe now, I made it...
But!
Suddenly my truck was rocking violently sideways, I looked in my rear view mirror to see a large, hairy beast. It grabbed my old pickup bed and gleefully try to tear it to hell.
Ahh......
Still screaming like a girl, I gunned the truck racing towards my wife up the hill. I yelled, "Get your butt in this pickup now if you want to live!"
By now she had seen the Bigfoot and didn't need any further enticement.
"I'm coming Tucker, help me!"
A second Bigfoot had materialized joining the first one and was just behind her. I smashed my truck into it causing it to stumble, giving my wife just enough time to scramble into our vehicle.
I shot down the hill and unto the dirt road leaving a cloud of dust, my wife had a look of horror on her face.
"Honey, those were Bigfoot said Helena."
They are not supposed to exist!
Well, I said somebody forgot to tell them, I need to report this to the police.
And maybe the Bureau of Land Management...
Thump!
The truck buckled under the weight of something very heavy. Suddenly, a huge, hairy face with large, red glowing eyes peered into the truck's interior.
Then, the Bigfoot leaned over the front cab of my truck, pressing his big lips against the window on my wife's side.
"Oh!"
I hollered, not on my watch dude and I slammed on the brakes sending it flying, then I took off at breakneck speed. I looked in the rear view mirror to unfortunately see the two enraged Bigfoots chasing us, roaring and throwing rocks.
"Are those things real?"
Helena asked, "What do you think they want?" Her body trembling hard...
"Damm, I don't know,
Helena, I don't have the answer." Maybe they're angry that we just invaded their territory. Or they're curious about us and looking for a happy meal.
I drove as fast as I could, hoping to find a way out of the woods. But the road was very bumpy and winding, and the Bigfoots were gaining on us.
"No, no, no!" I shouted, frantically turning the key. "Come on, start, damn it!" The Bigfoots were almost upon us. They reached the truck and began to pound on it with their fists. The windows cracked and the metal dented.451Please respect copyright.PENANAoVp1jRcjzw
I grabbed a shotgun from under the seat and loaded it with shells. I rolled down the window aiming at the nearest Bigfoot. "Go ahead, make my day!" I yelled. I pulled the trigger and fired a shot. The Bigfoot howled in pain and staggered back, clutching its chest. Blood dripped from its wound.451Please respect copyright.PENANAgpVkWWgwjW
The other Bigfoot roared in rage and lunged at me. The beast grabbed my arm and tried to pull me out of the window. "Let go of me, you bastard!" I shouted. I struggled to free myself, but it was too strong. It bit my shoulder and I felt a sharp pain.
I dropped the shotgun and reached for my knife. I stabbed it in the eye and it let go of me. It screamed and covered its face with its hand. I grabbed the shotgun again and quickly fired another shot at it. It fell to the ground, twitching.
"Does it hurt?" she asked.451Please respect copyright.PENANAqmD8qCf2OH
"Maybe not. Perhaps they're afraid of the gunshots. Maybe they'll leave us alone."451Please respect copyright.PENANAuKdIJdl3VH
I looked around and saw a small cabin nearby. It looked abandoned and dilapidated, but it was better than nothing.451Please respect copyright.PENANAz8eWHLstun
I said. "Let's get in there."451Please respect copyright.PENANAIFWsrspcFv
"Like what, replied Helena?"451Please respect copyright.PENANA1rozyeJrL0
"What?" I said incredulously.451Please respect copyright.PENANA9ew8bhuZ0Z
They could be solitary and elusive, and other people said they were social and territorial. Then, there were reports that some of them were natural and normal, while other Bigfoot were supernatural and paranormal.
"Maybe not," Helena said. "Maybe this is why they're here. Maybe this is their home."451Please respect copyright.PENANACR3gLtxlFB
Maybe we stumbled into their sacred land, she said. "Maybe we have disturbed their ancient rituals."451Please respect copyright.PENANAKsUDldCONk
