The first day of college, wasn't my best day but I still remember it like it was yesterday.
My heavy breathing, my glasses on the floor with my books and papers fro my next class. My dark grey hair covered my eyes from anyones sight, the husky voice of a familiar man.
" hey mate are you okay " his accent was amazing
" oh, yeah I guess " How is this happening to me?
" here let me help you up " he smiled and held out his hands for me
" thanks " I blushed and put my hands in his as he lifted me back up onto my feet.
" no problem " he nodded looking down at one of my papers he was holding
He asked about it, I laughed and told him what i was majoring in. He laughed as well saying that he was in the same class as me. I smiled as we walked to the classroom, he held his books to his chest. I held them by my side, my breathing wasn't getting any better with him by my side. Dammit Trevor what is happening to you!!
We got in and sat down close to the middle, i got out my recorder and turned it on as he began to speak. My new friend was sleeping on my shoulder fro the whole 4 hours of class. He still wasn't helping me at all. Once class was done I woke him up, he smiled and walked we me to get something to eat in the cafeteria.
" I didn't catch your name " he muttered into my ears
" oh its Trevor, whats yours " I asked as I looked at him
" its Kasey " he smiled eating his food
I looked down at my phone and then back up at him, my phone buzzed. I looked back down to see a friend of mine wanted me to go to a party that night. I groaned and showed him the text since he was curious why I groaned. He asked me If I could bring him, I roll my eyes and nod. Great Mr. hot shot is gunna be at the party, good job Trevor. He laughs and ruffles my hair, teasing me like this wasn't the best idea in the whole world. We finished our food at the same time and walked to his car, he asked to drive us to the party. I accepted and jumped into the passenger seat. He turned his music on as silence between us was the only thing to think about. He parked in front of my friends house and walked me to the door. I knocked and waited for someone to answer it.
" oh hey Trevor " a girl smiled as she opened the front door
" hey Claire, can we come in by any chance. Its cold like a bitch out here " I ask
" yeah yeah, but who's the cutie " she winked at him and bit her bottom lip
" this is Kasey, and don't think about doing something to him. You have your own boyfriend, your such a player " I roll my eyes and let myself in, Kasey followed me
" I am not, I just have my options " she yelled at me before running into the kitchen and helping to cook food
After a while people began to show up, there were a lot of them. I watched as Kasey left my side and got drunk off his ass, I held a cup in my hands as I leaned against a corner wall. Multiple people tried to dance with me, but Im un-social at parties. Why did I come here anyway. I sigh and walk up into the second floor, I got to the top to see Kasey sitting on the floor. His hands were running against his hair, his eyes were looking up at the stars through the sky light. In that moment I just wanted to melt, damn he looks fine. He glanced over at me and smirked.
" hey Trevor.... Hows the party so far " he asked as his drunken expression searched my body
" Its okay, can I sit with you " I reply knowing that was a bad idea
" yeah, come here " he tapped the floor
I sat down and immediately felt his left arm around my waist. I look at him and he was just looking at me. He's drunk I can't stop him whatever he try. His eyes were looking into mine, he bit his bottom lip at me and kept winking so many times. Being the embarrassed one I blushed and covered my face with my shirt. He took my hands and held them in his, he wanted to see my face? Whats with him, I know he's drunk but I've never seen him like this. Without blinking he placed his lips on mine, I didn't move a muscle. I tensed as he slipped his tongue into my mouth, my eyes finally closed as I couldn't help but melt. I kissed him back and smiled, he caressed my cheeks as he let go of my lips. I whined a little for him, but new I couldn't afford to have sex at this moment. After he winked at me once more he collapsed on my shoulder and fell asleep for the rest of the night.
The party ended, and I drove him back to my apartment. He still hadn't woken up by that time. I carried him into my living room and placed him on the couch, I smile and got into my bed. I close my eyes and fell asleep.
The next morning I woke up early and made breakfast, Kasey was still asleep after last night. I made breakfast and served two plates. I walked over to him and shook his shoulder, his eyes slowly opened.
" hey, where am I Trevor " he asked sitting up
" in my apartment, you fell asleep on my shoulder last night. You were really drunk you know " I replied not bringing up the kiss we had
" can I have break fast " he asked once more
" I already made it, come on " I gestured him to follow me
He follows me into the kitchen and we eat our breakfast. I change my clothes before we leave for class once more. We got into class and sat down, I wanted to ask about the kiss but I couldn't.
" Kasey you forgot something " a girl yelled as she ran to his side
" and what is that " he asked with a smile on his face as he placed his hands on her waist
" my morning kiss " she pouted crossing her arms
" alright " he chuckled before kissing her lips
I watched in surprise and shock, I didn't want t interrupt them. Finally they let go of each others lips, she ruffled his hair and ran out of the class room.
" hey you look down, did something happen " he asked me lifting my chin so I had to look at him
" yes, my heart hurts. Your such an asshole " I cried and wiped my tears away from my eyes
I never told him about our kiss after that, we became really good friends. His girlfriend and him stayed for a really long time, I don't think they will ever break up. And for me, I'm still helping him with classes and his relationship. I just wish I told him about the kiss, I'm so stupid when it comes to love.
