Jay was deep in thought...Have you ever thought that someone could hurt you just by rejecting you? Jay was sure everyone knows that fact.
When you ask someone out, you know there is a big chance of being rejected and falling. After all, you'd only ask someone you love. And being rejected by someone you love can break you.
And that's why Jay was so glad to have been accepted by his lover.

"Jay, what are you so deep in thought about?" Rose, his girlfriend, asked. "Ah, nothing. Just thinking about how glad I am that you accepted me. Remember that time when I asked you out in the rain?" Jay asked. Rose smiled, "Of course I do."
"The bell rang and I was walking out of school. It was raining. Then you ran to me and stuttered about something. Right?" Rose giggled, probably remembering something in that moment.
"Yeah. And then you said you need to hurry." Jay added. "You really looked heartbroken that time." Rose chuckled.
"That isn't supposed to be something you laugh at." Jay said. "Sorry, sorry..." Rose apologized, smiling.
Rose continued, "And then I walked outside of the building, and my bodyguard were already holding out an umbrella for me."
"Yeah. And then I held your hand, wet clothes and all." Jay smiled. "Then you knelt down and asked me if I wanted to be your girlfriend." Rose smiled back.
"And when you said yes, I kissed you like this," Jay kissed Rose deeply before continuing, "Remember?"
"Of course I do. And then my bodyguard told you to leave me alone because you looked like a crazy lost puppy." Rosy bursted out laughing.
Jay laughed with her, "This story is a story worth telling our children."
