In my teenage years I always imagined it as a perfect life. Having my family and friends at my side, having boyfriend who is intelligent, loving, loyal, polite and funny with similar interests and tastes. In other words the perfect lad to love and live with and without any troubles with my friends plus a large house in England, Ireland, Scotland or Sweden with a garden.523Please respect copyright.ＰＥＮＡＮＡlZJUFvMT3k
Now in my young adult "phase", although I still feel like a 18-year-old, I learned that sort of "imagining" will only remain in my mind as a dream or wish and it is not up to date.523Please respect copyright.ＰＥＮＡＮＡ0n6TpR9Her
I learned that reality works and flows different in my life. Now I am a step closer to my dream life. Getting independant from my parent's generous (financial) aid. Although I love my parents and understand with them very well but I want to be independant. Why? There are reasons, some you'll understand and others are very personal. Plus a small piece of liberation to travel or work abroad. I received an appenticeship in a small social company with a sociable boss which I thought they never existed! If you walked into his office you would never guess it is his and from his clothes he is proper but without a suit and tie like I always imagined (you know what most bankers would wear to work). Looks too like his workers but I can not help stop thinking of the English actor Charles Dance. They both have short blond hair at about similar hair cut only my boss has glasses and speaks Swiss-German.
In this company I found the work that is suited to me. Freight forwarder. (They organize import/export of goods and at times declare them.) For a while it was critical and difficult which job is suited to me. As freight forwarder it is the perfect thing for me and the company is great! The people there have the similar philosophy and humor. I almost thought I was an alien. I know everyone is an individual but that different did come into question. My top dream job would be a writer and/or consulting detective like Sherlock Holmes but the salary is very poor that you can barely get your bread on the table, would aid at times the police and otherwise spy people through a camera in supermarkets. Maybe in time I might find an opportunity and courage to do so. As freight forwarder I will come into regular contact with the customs and police. Plus I just moved into a new small flat built from the 1960s. It is lovely and not far from public tranport, shops and city center and yet it is quiet. If you know Zootopia from Disney, I feel myself exactly like Judy Hopps. Luckily my neighbors are quite and friendly.
In the near future it may go similar as Sherlock Holmes did with John Watson (coincidentally), sharing a larger flat with a dear friend that I will suggest. But at the moment there more important things to think. My bachelor work plus apprenticeship (special bachelor work in Switzerland).
Having a boyfriend? I've grown flexible. If he comes then alright and if not I'm contented as I am now. Have my friends and family to love. Get time to write stories and other hobbies.
How I see my life is a bit special or maybe even odd for you. I never saw it so clear after reading Gaston Leroux's "The Phantom of the Opera". I lived about a parallel life like Christine Daaé did. Grew up in my childhood in Sweden (Helsingborg), have French blood, act in a small theater group (with dancing & singing) and love dancing. Many music teachers gave me compliments to my singing voice, one even tried to convince me to the conservatorium but I was too shy which has turned now to one of few regretts in my life. And now have big interests to such characters who conceal their faces and vealed in mystery (Beauty and the Beast, V for Vendetta, ...).
As you may have noticed, I am contented with my life. Do have wishes but they are fitted to reality and left others open. Love is something you can not expect. It will come when it will or you will be waiting forever and thus get frustrated. Learned that by watching some of my friends.
Anyway, live your life like you want it (however possible). ;-)
