One day when Alex was sleeping her grandmother Galore Flay appeared in her dream. She told Alex that in order to get her powers back she must go into the deep waters of the Suffragan Ocean and get a white pearl.
However the problem was that she was deathly afraid of water and so she asked her friends Brutus and Lucius if they would go into the ocean instead of her and get the pearl.
At first they were reluctant but then they remembered that the town would not be terrorized by the old, evil witch and eager to take the task, happily agreed. Alex sat by the shore while Brutus and Lucius dived into the depths of the dark and murky ocean.
However the witch had seen Brutus and Lucius dive into the ocean and soon she became terrified, her worst fear had come true. But then she realized that they were amateurs and they have not seen the dark creatures of the Suffragan Ocean and within a minute called to her best friend Deathshed the limb tearing Kraken and asked him to tear apart Alex's friends Brutus and Lucius and then eat them for good measure.
