“Move out! Move goddammit!” A soldier shouted out commands from inside the castle. A wave of other militants came pouring out, swiftly stumbling across the room in a panic fumbling their weapons as they grasped their rifles.
“What about the Joonkals!?” Another one yelled back.
“Forget about them! Now get your ass out there!” He screamed louder.
They were all storming out the heart of the castle where around four Joonkals tied up together along a wall. Right by them were tools used for construction purposes as there was a huge hole in the ground in front of them. All of the soldiers yelling at each other were all gone and it seemed that the whole place was emptied, becoming suddenly silent.
Brentha was shivering behind a barrel she leapt behind to hide from them. Quivering, she leaned out from behind to check if everyone had headed out. Veering her eyes left and right until she was confident that she was alone.
Overlooking the main area she saw the hallway that led to the giant spiral staircase that led to the office. But it was hard to ignore the construction sight with the dirty Joonkals sitting down. Their clothes were completely ragged and their faces dowered with depressive expressions.
All of them were exhausted with sore bodies and spiking pain in their wrists. Brentha came out of her hiding spot and approached them slowly like she would encounter an animal in the wild.
They all jumped back as she slowly walked up to them. Getting on their feet and forcing their bodies against the wall since they couldn’t go far. They were all extraordinarily tall and had a more built frame than her.
“I’m not here to hurt you alright?” She comforted.
“Oh, it’s a Purk.” One of them responded. “What’s happening out there?” The tenseness they built up all disappeared.
“There’s a whole war out there.” She responded. “Complete chaos and you get it already but my whole crew’s here to save our friend. A fellow Joonkal.”
“A purk and Joonkal being friends?” Another one scoffed. “Never would have lived to see the day.”
“It’s all too complicated to explain but I’m here to get something from the man who did this all to you.” She started to explain. “Is there a key or any way to free you guys?”
“Grab one of those tools.” He instructed trying to motion his body to what appeared to be a little mini pickaxe. “Try cutting our restraints.”
She bent down and picked up what he was talking about, kneeling down to his restraints cutting at the rope. It took a little bit until the knot was cut in half and fell to the ground.
He was released with a huge sense of relief, giving off a relieving sigh as he wiggled around his fingers and twisted his wrist. She went to town at the other ones until they were all released.
“Thank god you showed up.” He thanked. “I’ve never felt any better.”
“No problem.” She replied, getting back to her feet. “I’m glad I was able to spot you. But I need to get going, do you need anything?”
“No, you’ve helped enough.”He waved his hand, motioning her to move along. “Go do your thing. I’m going to find some of these bastards who threw stones at us, and beat my friends' brains out. We’re going to make them pay.” They rushed over to a room where a whole ton of weapons the guards used. Grabbing rifles mainly and blades. “Good luck and thank you.”
They ran out of the room into the ongoing war outside. She knew she couldn’t stall any longer but gave one last smile and wave before she rapidly spun her body around, running to the staircase.

Shanta put herself in a fighting pose right as Xinder recovered from the blow. Lining up his sword to her, squinting his eyes. Letting a smirk slip out before he bolted out sharply left and then right. Zig zagging through the lift marvelousing fast that it was worth being left stunned.
She let out some more lightning bolts that missed him and instead directed into the floorboards. Though it wasn’t completely useless as it did slightly stagger him. All of the strikes made him stall and stumble backwards a little. Even if he could predict their pattern it was going to be even harder to dodge them as efficiently.
Veering off slightly to the left leaving with nothing else to do but only delay him even further. It was only working for a bit until he was able to progress further. Getting real close to almost landing a hit on her.
Putting her hands on the ground as soon as he got near, releasing a huge ton of force launching him all the way back to the other side. It was clear that this whole fight was annoying him. Envisioning it in his head about how it would continue without changing any of his strategies.
He was right up next to the broken panel as he was quickly running through thoughts. In the middle of his brainstorming session Shanta found another opportunity to fire yet another lightning bolt.
He darted out of the way just in the knick of time. The lightning struck the panel. The sudden spark of electricity brought it back to life to malfunction again. Suddenly the lift shot right back up at an insane speed. The momentum of it launched everything off the ground and high into the air as it reached the surface.
Both were soaring in the air and just as quickly lifted they came careening right back down to earth. Shanta landed on her stomach, covering her head with her hands. Xinder reached the ground and rolled to reduce the impact of the fall.
She groaned out in pain, her hands aching from the crash. Xinder got off pretty easy all things considered, with only some sore feet and slightly irritating pain in his ankles.
“Ugh!” Shanta continued to grunt. She got off the ground and spotted him doing the same.
“Man you witches are all the same.” He brushed himself off. “Extraordinarily annoying.”
She didn’t respond to that but only put her hands back up to cast a spell. Instead of a lightning bolt she summoned a tiny version of the huge fireball she casted earlier. It shot right at him and he batted away with his sword.
He then started to rapidly sway his sword around, like he was constantly attacking the air. At the same time he was darting left to right again but he moved so fast that the average human eye couldn’t keep up. All appearing as one giant blur that would be nearly impossible to know what exactly was going on.
Spawning multiple projectiles she threw randomly out at him but he was bashing every single one of them. When all the fIreballs and lightning strikes didn’t work she went back to the backup using the invisible force to draw him back.
When it came in contact with him, it didn’t have enough power behind them to make any significant blowback to reduce the distance between them. In a panicked frenzy she just threw everything at him while she trotted backwards.
All of it seemed to be null as he eventually got close enough to finally get the first strike on her. In one fluid and swift motion he slashed directly in the middle of her stomach, swinging around to the back leaving another huge gash identical to the one upfront.
It all happened so suddenly that all of it took place in less than a second. It all was such a hazy flash that she didn’t even fully comprehend what happened until blood gushed out and the instantaneous pain shocked her body.
She fell down to her knees as blood poured out onto the ground. Instinctively she placed her hand over the middle of her stomach. Blood covered her palms and seeped through her clothing.
Xinder placed the sword right back into his sheathe as he slowly walked away from her. Slowly she curled up into a ball on the floor from the unbearable pain almost making tears come flowing down.
He didn’t say anything or look back to confirm that she died, he just casually jaunted away. Some blood dripped down from the sword and littered the ground leaving a small trail from her body.

Shug clenched onto the box he was hiding behind. All of the smoke engulfing him only allowed him to see at least a few feet ahead then getting cloudy once you tried to view further.
He put his back against the crate, his heart beating remarkably rapidly to the point where he could even hear it. The fear overtook his body as he zoned in on no other sound except for his heartbeat.
The overwhelming paranoia made his mind space out and start firing off thoughts like crazy, just constant alarms blaring in his head. Placing his hand to his heart he was finally starting to calm down. Zunci’s line from earlier repeated in his head.
Stick to the boxes, he can’t really sneak up on you if your back is always covered, right?
He tried to rationalize in his brain. Shimming along the rough and jagged crates, moving exactly like a crab. Rubbing his back against the wood was uncomfortable but he trudged through it with little options.
Using his hands to guide himself around the corners still going along. The constant hissing from the capsules and the shuffling noises from his clothes ruffling up against the wood. Even though he managed to stop himself from having a panic attack it didn’t change that he was still terrified as all hell.
He was on high alert scanning every single thing around, trying to spot anything coming towards him. He followed the crates until it turned right, hugging tightly along.
It didn’t take long until he took another sharp right. He didn’t care where it led him as long as he didn’t have to constantly check his back. Keeping a straight vision is the best position he could be in right now.
Footsteps started drawing near, they were extremely fast like someone was running. It was crowding all around him like someone sprinting in circles. He knew for sure that it was Fringerly searching for him.
He kept still in his spot not even daring to move a single muscle. His heart beat increased yet again, hands shaking and body sweating profusely. The clopping on stone drew nearer.
He clutched the rifle, his finger getting trigger happy. Crouching down he now knew whatever corner he tucked himself into was not a safe space anymore. He stood his ground trying his best to track him from where the sound was coming from. He cowered down onto his knees holding the rifle outwards from his body.
His hands were starting to rattle like he was in an earthquake as the steps got right up next to him. Accidentally his finger slipped down on the trigger causing it to fire a stray round. He wasn’t ready for the recoil and it knocked his head against the crate and the but of the rifle to smack him in the stomach.
Scrambling to his feet, slipping around and completely losing his cool. The shot alerted Fringerly right to his direct location and the footsteps headed towards him. The rifle tumbled in his sweaty palms, frantically trying to pull the trigger.
Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!
He kept swearing as Fringerly popped out of the smoke in front of his face, placing both hands on the rifle. Shug tugged right back as he just began screaming, throwing out punches and kicks at Fringerly.
He responded by using his elbows to bat him away. He swiped down on Shug’s right arm which made him lose grip of the rifle, but still managed to hang onto it. He pulled it tightly to his chest and Fringerly yanked him into his arms, getting put into a chokehold.
Fringerly was so close to taking the rifle but Shug was still wiggling and jerking around, still yelling. At this point he has no idea what’s going on, only needed to win no matter the cost.
“Will you shut the fuck up-AAH!” Fringerly’s voice yelped as Shug bit down onto his thumb.
The pain made him jerk Shug away finally and widely swinging his leg around and kicking him in the stomach at an inhumanely speed. It sent him crashing through the crate and onto the other side. Landing on his back.
Shug immediately shuffled around on the ground in the direction away from Fringerly, crawling on all fours like a lost dog. He miraculously got out of the smoke and rested along a wall, his back and chest sore.
He was sure he was having a heart attack from the constant pain he felt right in the middle of his chest. But he couldn’t get a rest as to his horror, Fringerly limped out of the smoke with the rifle aiming right at him.
“I shouldn’t have to deal with a little punk like you!” He angrily mumbled through gritted teeth. “I’m going to take pride in seeing the life leave your eyes, you twerp!” He started shouting.
He forcibly jerked the end of the rifle to Shug’s face, almost poking his eye out. He put his hands up defensively as he pathetically whimpered on the ground.
“I’ll catch you later in hell.” He said before beginning to pull the trigger.

“Try your best little girl.” Anften laughed as he launched off the ground towards her. Yunga proceeded to do the same, zipping around all over the place like never before.
Colliding directly in the middle with Yunga arching her leg back walloping into his face. He tumbled backwards and it was even harder for him this time to recover. Trying to catch himself but he didn’t expect her to be right up in his business.
He threw a quick punch, making her zip back and then right in his face again. Throwing another kick into the side of his hip, blowing him all the way to the right.
Pressing the buttons on the contraption he flew back up into the sky to escape her. Gritting his teeth and rumbling in anger. “Stupid bitch!” He shouted from above. “You had to get some help from your friend, couldn’t take me on your own couldn’t you?”
Yunga's smug smile faded a little, clenching her fists. She couldn’t conjure up a good comeback to him. Deep down she knew it was true but even admitting it might be far worse than just having it pointed out.
“You’re a coward!” He yelled as he continued to float around in circles.
“Says the one avoiding me!” She shouted back. “Come down you bitch!”
“Why don’t you meet me up here?” He snarked.
“Sure.” She jumped off the ground and started to dash upwards towards him.
He was obviously startled about it. Scrambling with his controls, faltering in time to move out of the way. She reached him surprisingly quickly and gave another kick to his stomach, aiming downwards sending him spiraling.
He couldn’t naturally pick himself back up but only cushion the fall as best as he could. She followed, zipping down way faster than he was plummeting. Catching right back up to him she delivered another blow all the way across the courtyard. Hitting him directly in the arm, breaking the bone.
Screaming out in pain as he flew into the grass ruining some of the flower gardens. He forced his body to stop the momentum and face Yunga who seemed to never run out of stamina. With his arm limping at his side, a fuse inside him broke and his brain went full on rage mode.
Sick of her bullshit he saw her bolting his way. Memorizing her movements on how she walloped on him. He already predicted that she was going to throw another kick. Right as he foresaw it in his head she thrusted her leg high up near his head.
Using his unbroken arm he grabbed her leg before it whacked him square in the side of his head. Throwing her leg away causing her to swivel off balance, he used his own equipment to swing around his foot and kick her straight into her chest.
Blowing her backwards and stumbling over her feet as she desperately tried to stop herself. He flew right to her face and threw a slurry of punches all landing right on her face. Screaming at the top of his lungs as he relentlessly beat into her.
He grabbed her robe after countless punches to the face he rammed her into the stone wall that divided the courtyard and the cargo storage bay. Pinning her as he was in a catatonic state of pure rage.
She desperately wiggled trying to get out of his grasp as he still kept throwing out punches with no drawback to them. She kicked at him until one hit to her head sent her vision into a blurry mess. A throbbing strain like a constant migraine filled her pain sense as the potion started to wear off.
Every single blow that her body ignored hit her all at once and she screamed in complete agony as huge pulsing pain throughout her whole body overwhelmed her. Her screams snapped Anften out of his anger state. He looked blankly as she didn’t try to escape him anymore, the severe injuries finally started to take effect.
He then started cackling in her face looking like a complete psychopath as she was just screaming. A scene that could be ripped straight from a horror movie.
“Is all that magic stuff wearing off?” He taunted as he continued to maniacally laugh. “You get what you fucking deserve gretcha!” She wasn’t even paying attention to what he was pointlessly blabbering about as her mind only tried to soothe her down. “I ain’t no monster, so I’ll put you out of your misery.”
He drew his fist back, ready to cave her skull in when a huge booming explosion from the top of the castle where Uff’s office was. A whole ton of stone and debris from the blast started to rain down onto the battlefield, followed by clouds of dust.
The explosion drew the eyes of everybody from the battlefield. Fringerly, Xinder, and Anften and the remaining crew still left on the ground. The suspense of what happened up there and the question lingering on if anybody survived.
All of the fights paused for a brief moment leaving the active war ground stagnant for a strange yet beautiful silence. Waiting for the dust to bellow down to show what happened.11Please respect copyright.PENANAYXsIrDfPkm
