You are an epitome of love and wisdom,

Aphrodite, Luna and Athena

merged in one simple form.

I am your creation, joined not by blood

or flesh only but as souls interconnected.

Souls that hew and haw but stick like

the ocean and soil, like plant and water.

Far from ethereal, this world of ours,

we argue, I rebel and like God,

you strive to bring me back,

prodigal, undeserving.

Compassionate heart, it

pains you that I have to learn

by experience,

the truth I disdained in your palms.
