Someone said, "Don't judge the book by its cover."
But clearly, this was wrong. Ask yourself, will you read a story - a book - with a shitty cover where you can't read the title because of the wrong choice of fonts, and the picture is just a random photo picked up from google?
Absolutely not for me, to be honest with you.
I'm picky as a reader. I know that, and I frequently find myself criticizing the story just by staring at the cover. I know, I know, this is cruel. But why not?
Covers are the faces of the book.
Imagine your book as a human. The cover the face, the synopsis its body. What do you imagine it as?
You can't just go on and make a story. It's not as easy as that, nor even as fast. You need to control how your fingers fidget and how the story moves on with every type of your fingers. Generally speaking, learn to organize things.
It's the same with covers. You can't just go grab a photo from google and throw the title with a random font. NO NO NO.
This work will act as your guide and help from me. This also serves as help too for the writers who want to win the BEST BOOK COVER prize in one of my running contests. Brace yourself and good luck! 287Please respect copyright.PENANAVMr6IhxlsE
