A beautiful sunset setting over the wondrous horizon. A calm blue sea, the mild breeze soothing through my soul. It's been a while since I started walking on quite a distance from the villa, not even minding the sun that is already setting from the world.
The rough surface of the white sand feels so relaxing on my barefoot. I pick some adorable seashells and widely smiled as I stared at the seashells that varies in different colours and sizes. I continued walking and put it on a small box I stored on my right pocket.
Habang naglalakad, I saw someone in dark green jacket and khaki shorts, standing not really far from me. I'm sure he's a guy. He's facing the calm sea but he felt my presence and draw his gaze to me.
Hindi ko maaninag ang mukha niya but I felt my feet stop from walking and met his stare. Binalik niya ang tingin sa papalubog na araw. I stand there for a while and gazed at the beautiful view as well.
"The view here was indeed magnificent." I heard the latter said. His voice seems familiar yet I didn't recognize who's this guy 'cause his wearing hood which blocks his face.
"Bakasyonista ka rin ba dito?" Muling wika ng lalaking malapit lang sa akin.
I looked at his direction at saka ako sumagot. Nakatingin rin siya sa akin this time. "Ah yeah."
Tumango-tango lang siya at pinasadahan ulit ng tingin ang papalubog na araw.
Bigla akong nakarinig ng ringtone ng phone. Wala naman akong dalang phone so it must be his phone.
Nilabas nito ang phone niya mula sa bulsa ng yellow na jacket and tiningnan ang kung anong notification.
He let out a chuckle saka umiling. "I guess I have to say goodbye now, By the way I'm Apollo. It's nice to meet you." binaba niya ang hood upang ipakita ang mukha niya. Nakita ko na nakasuot siya ng eyeglasses ngunit hindi ko klarong nakita ang buong mukha niya ng maayos. He extended his hands for handshake. At first I hesitated pero tinanggap ko nalang din.
"Nice meeting you too." I smiled back at his genuine smile.
Ngunit bago ko pa ipakilala ang sarili ko ay umaatras na siya habang kumakaway at mabilis na umalis.
Ang weird niya naman na hindi niya man lang tinanong ang pangalan ko. Napahimas nalang ako sa aking braso at nagpatuloy na sa paglalakad. I must go back to the villa now. Malamang ay nag-aalala na si Mommy kung nasaan ako.
Pagkatapos maglakad-lakad sa may dalampasigan, napagpasyahan ko na bumalik na ng villa dahil baka hinahanap na nga ako nila Mommy.
Sinalubong ako ni Mommy with her worried face.
"Where have you been, Sweetheart?" Mom said while caressing my face. With such endearment, I giggled with mom and hugged her.
"I'm fine mom, I was just enjoying our last stay here. Babalik nanaman kasi tayo ng Manila e. Sana kasi dito nalang tayo tumira. Peaceful and cloistered from stress and pollution." I pouted.
Nasa vacation ako ngayon with mom and dad but dad already went back to Manila last night dahil he's up to an emergency meeting sa kompanya. Unfortunately, Our stay tonight is our last day 'cause we're heading to Manila tomorrow and magpapasukan nanaman.
"Sorry sweetie but we can't just stay here for too long. Alam mo naman na nandoon nakasentro ang business natin. Pwede naman tayo magbakasyon dito every summer if you want to."
I smiled at Mom. Mom is right, kailangan ko silang intindihin, that won't hurt right? I just really loved this place kaya ganito ko kagusto na magstay dito. Pero ayoko rin naman mapalayo sa kanila at magpaiwan dito while mom and dad are on Manila.
Ngunit hindi ko rin naman sila masyadong nakakasama sa Manila dahil sa isang boarding school ako nag-aaral.
"I rather be with you Mom and with Dad, than stay her alone with the maids. I understand Mommy," Sabi ko and hugged mom tighter.
"You're already grown up now baby, I'm really proud of you. I love you Sweetie."
"I love you too Mom." I said and pulled away from Mom.
Kakalapag lamang ng eroplano na sinasakyan namin sa airport. Agad kaming sinundo ni Daddy and I immediately run towards him and hugged him tightly. Imissed him already kahit dalawang araw palang kaming 'di nagkikita. Mula sa airport, dumiretso kami sa isang restaurant nearby and ordered for our lunch.
"How's your last stay last night, Sweetie?" Dad asked. Pareho sila Mommy na mahilig sa endearment so I smiled widely.
"Totally awesome! Mom and I went to night market and bought some souvenirs, stroll on the seaside, and even played chess before going to sleep." I told dad.
"That's cool!" Masiglang sambit ni Daddy. Dad's also cool I must say.
Habang nagkekwentuhan, natapos narin kami sa pagkain at pumunta na kami sa bahay. Kahit papaano ay namiss ko ang bahay namin. Almost two months kaming nagvacation kung saan-saan.
The first two weeks of vacation was spent on European Tour which was really Wonderful. Next stop was on Hongkong because of business affairs which we stayed there for almost a month, and lastly sa Province ng mga magulang ni Mom sa Cebu.
"Good morning Ma'am Stella, Sir Brix and Ma'am Sally." Bati sa amin ng mayordoma ng Mansion ngunit sila mommy lang ang nag-abalang bumati pabalik sa kanya.
She has the attitudes kaya 'wag niyo ako tanungin why did I ignored the lady.
"Baby, I just wanted to remind you tomorrow may dadaluhan tayong Party, better be ready? Alright? " Oh! may pupuntahan kaming party tomorrow. I nodded at Mom and bid a kiss with her and to dad.
After bidding goodbyes with Mom and Dad they headed to their room and even me as well went to my own room too.
Ahh, the familiar scent, the sheets, and the room! I really miss my room.
Tumunog ang phone ko na naiwan sa room na ito for almost two months! Someone's calling me. I'm glad it wasn't low battery.
Imagine that, kaya ko palang hindi gumamit ng phone for a couple of months.
"What's up, Beau?" tanong ko sa best friend ko na tumawag.
"You've been ignoring my messages and calls for the past few weeks at ngayon tatanungin mo ako ng 'What's up?' Gosh, you're unbelievable Stella." sagot nito. Natawa nalang ako sa naging expression niya. As what I've said, naiwan ko ang phone ko sa kwartong ito kaya hindi rin kami nagkaroon ng communication na nakalipas na mga buwan.
"I'm on my vacation, naiwan ko kasi phone ko sa bahay." Natatawa kong sabi sa kanya. "edi dapat tinry mong tawagan nalang si Max." natatawa kong wika.
"Stella!!" sigaw ng nasa kabilang linya kaya agad kong inilayo ang phone sa aking tainga.
"Yeah, That's my gorgeous name."
I'm Stella Mariz Thomas, and I'm undeniably gorgeous as well. Char.
"From now on, you should be like BDO." hmm, ano namang kinalaman ng BDO? Napakamot ako sa aking batok. Thinking of possible meanings.

"Geez, miss mo lang ako kaya ka nagkakaganyan eh, I miss you too." sabi ko habang tumatawa.
"Whatever you say. By the way babalik ka na ba bukas ng school? Sabay na tayo bumalik."
"Ah yeah, bukas nga ako babalik."
Geez, ilang araw na lang magpapasukan na. Hindi pa ako nagreready at dapat magready na ako. I should known better.
"Nood narin tayo tomorrow ng basketball tournament sa school. It would be very interesting because our Academy's opponent would be it's mortal enemy, the Hannelius High!" Whoah! Surely is interesting huh?
"Ano game ka?" I heard she asked excitedly from the other line. Wow, biglang nagbago ang mood. From pagiging masungit to cheerful. Minsan hindi ko rin mahulaan ang mood ng babaeng 'to eh.
Siguro bukas ang preliminaries para sa regional kaya it would be very interesting to watch the said tournament. And oh, There would be a lot of boys!
