It’s hard to feel safe anymore,

The world isn’t what it used to be,

We used to be able to walk around without any fears,

You think our children have bad nightmares and takes hours to get them to go to bed,

It’s our reality now,

I wish we could go back when people would talk with people face to face,

Technology is to blame,

People are so used to solving their problems in violence,

Something has got to give,

If we all have sleep with one eye open so be it.
