After the meeting had ended I walked to my office, to my sight he had already moved his things in. There he was sitting on his desk, acting as though he owned the place. I guess he kind of does but that's not the point.There were bunches of papers sprawled out on the desk I had walked over to my desk to place my cup of coffee on my desk when I felt eyes staring at me from behind. “Take a picture, it’ll last longer,” I said in a sarcastic tone .
“The name’s Austin gorgeous” I heard footsteps getting closer towards me. Soon enough I felt hands on my hips. “I suggest you get your hands off me before you end up losing one” I said in a calm voice. “Oh you're a feisty one now aren't you” He stated. I turned to face him and when I did, I felt myself staring at his oddly attractive face for longer than I wanted to.
I quickly pushed him off of me, went to my desk and continued getting out my things to continue working on a project I started a few days ago. I felt his gaze fall on me across the room. ”Do you need something Mr. Connell?” “I'll be back Ms. Jones. I'm needed down in the lobby.” He says as he walks towards the door.
As he's opening the door he looks over at me. “Don't miss me too much while I'm gone princess” he says, walking out the door with a smirk on his face. I feel my face turn red. “J-Just get out of here” I said in a flustered tone. I sat there stunned. He can't just come into my office and expect me to be all over him just like the other sluts he toys with.
I was finishing up my project. I glanced over at the clock. “It's midnight, god damnit” I said with a sigh. I wasn't planning on going home anytime soon. I have to get this project done for the company that plans to invest in the one I'm working at.
I got up and walked over to the kitchen my office floor conveniently had. I brewed myself a cup of coffee. As I was waiting for my coffee I heard footsteps. My heart dropped. “Who's there?” I said with a crack in my voice, obviously scared.
Next thing I know somebody’s grabbing my waist. I jumped at the cold hands that touched my body. I turned around to look to see who it was and met with gorgeous green eyes. I didn't realize I was staring. “Like something you see, princess?” the boss said.
I snapped out of the trance I was in. While pulling away from his grip I said “This is very unprofessional. Let me go, I have more important things to do then deal with you” I said with annoyance. “aw but you know you love me already” I froze as he said that. He had finally let go of me. I grabbed my coffee that had finally finished and walked out towards my office.
I sat at my desk and went back to working. He kept trying to speak to me. I ignored him, not wanting to deal with his ignorance. Eventually he left. I sighed and laid my head on the table wanting to sleep.
I heard the door creak open and shot my head up. Startled, I managed to ask who it was. “It's Austin, Princess.” His familiar husky voice whispered like he knew I was trying to sleep. I glanced over at the clock.It was 3 in the morning.
“What are you doing here at 3 in the morning?” I questioned.
“I could ask you the same thing princess” Austin said with a smirk on his lips.
I didn't have the energy to deal with him. I got up to go get another cup of coffee but to my surprise he stopped me at the door and handed me a cup of coffee.“Uh Thanks” I said with a confused look on my face. “ I figured you would need another cup of coffee so I made you one.” Austin said with a genuine smile on his face.
It was around 3:45 am so I decided to start heading home. I gathered all my things and went to the elevator. “Bye Princess” said Austin with that famous smirk he always has on his face. “Goodnight Mr.Connell” I managed to say right before the elevator doors closed.
