Eighteen-year-old Selena King is ready for her high school graduation. Cap and gown? Check. Diploma? Check. Mythical chimera setting the stage aflame? Check-wait, what?

Rescued by a lightning-welding demigod, Selena can't comprehend everything that just happened. Her wounds from the attack heal in record time, and there is no evidence left behind, save her blood drenched gown.

Selena is introduced to Major, a Marked demigod who possesses the power of his patron god, dedicated to protecting Olympus, with an annoying god complex(no pun intended). Selena is pulled into Major's world when her parents disappear and another not-so-mythical monster hunts her down.  But why would monsters be interested in ordinary mortals like the King family?

Selena must uncover the dangerous secrets hidden within her family's lineage, secrets that may pose a greater threat than any enemy they face.
