Today is finally the day you leave your old life behind and fully settle into your new room, your new house, your new life. “Sweetie, wake up, breakfast time!” Shiver softly whispered into your ear. You woke up with a smile on your face, knowing that she would always be there for you. “Already?” You asked, drowsily. “Yes silly, it’s 8:30.” You sat up and stretched, changed your clothes and went out for some food.
“What's for breakfast?” “Pancakes, eggs and bacon,” the cafeteria worker replied. You got your food and took it back to your room. “Oh Shiver, I got some food for us!” “Ooh, what is it?” “Eggs and bacon, for my sweet little Octoling girl~” She giggled and you placed down her food in front of her. “Thank you mon amour~” you blushed softly. “Y-you’re welcome love!” You stuttered, almost dropping your food. You watched her eat her food in delight, and slowly ate yours, just admiring everything about her. “Mmm~ This food is so good!” She said, “I agree, but it’s even better when I’m staring at you~” She blushed and giggled, “you flirt!” You couldn’t help but smile.
Bzzzzz! …Bzzzzz! You looked around, wondering what the buzzing sound was. “Is it your phone?” Shiver asked. You kept looking, assuming it was and found your phone. “Oh, it’s… my mom.” You said, unenthusiastically, knowing what you have become. “Hello?” “Hey buddy, where are you?” She asked, nervously. “Oh, I’m just at a friend’s house.” “What friend?” “Her name is..” you looked at Shiver, and then looked away. “Shiver. Her name is Shiver.” “Like the girl from the game?” My mom asked in shock. “Y-yeah, same name.” “Okay, well, keep in touch, alright?” “Okay mom, love you.” “Love you too, bye.” You turned off the phone and set it on the bedside table right under the lamp you would normally find in hotels. “So… are you going home?” Shiver hesitantly asked. “I’m already home.” You winked and giggled, then Shiver pushed you down on the pillow and climbed on top of you and then pinned you down and started making out with you.
Hours passed, and it was already dinner time. Shiver was sleeping on your chest, and you checked the time. “5:30…” you looked around and smelled the delicious scent of fresh pizza. You gently laid Shiver on the bed and got up and walked downstairs to get some dinner for you and Shiver. You walked back up after getting a few slices and Shiver was already awake. “Oh, hey darling, I brought you some pizza!” Shiver yawned and got up, took the plate and kissed me on the cheek. “Thank you, love.” You watched her walk away and got a little worried. “Are you okay?” A moment of silence followed while she walked to the bed. She yawned and said “Yeah, just tired.” You still looked a little worried, knowing that something else was up, but you decided to sit next to her and eat anyway.
