*Phone alarm going off*
*Jason's POV*
"There it goes...again. Time to fail another test today."
I said to myself as I got up. To be honest. I don't try to fail these classes. And when I say fail, I mean I get a B+ and my mother goes insane. I can almost hear her screaming at me as soon as I get home from school today.
"Jason you got another fucking B+?! Are you even studying?! Me and your father aren't raising a failure! I hope you understand that!"
I do understand that. And I've tried telling my parents that Bs are usually pretty above average, but do they listen? No. So I'm usually yelled at often. I think it's got to the point where even my teachers have been explaining that. I don't exactly understand my mothers logic. I've seen how other parents interact with their kids, and they seem pretty happy when their child gets a C on a test. So taking onto the fact my mother's just insane as fuck.
"Jason are you getting ready for school?!"
I could hear my mother shout from downstairs.
"Yes. But I really wish I wasn't" I answer back to her as I threw on a hoodie my cousin gave to me one year. That even sounded ridicules to me.
I walked down the stairs and was face to face with my mother. 407Please respect copyright.PENANAOCgcbmHHVe
"You're wearing that...to school?" My mother asked, annoyed.
"Yes? Mom, it's high school. Literally no-one cares what you're wearing. This isn't even close to the other strange clothing others at that school." I answered.
"You look like a neglected golden retreiver. If they had red fur."
If I wasn't right next to her, I would've rolled my eyes at her stupidity. She's the dumb one of us.
"Sorry?" I said as I grabbed my backpack from the corner of the room. I also looked at how nice and tidied the house looked. Sometimes I wish I had a little sibling to mess things up. And so I can have an actual reason to stitch together toys. That's my main hobby. Making toys. My mother hates it, because it's "Not going to get me far." But I really don't give two shits.
"You better pass this test, Jason."
"I have been passing my tests. But I will"
Annoyed, I walked out of that hell hole and down the street.

Amelia POV:
I just got to the bus stop when I saw red smudge from the foggy distance.
"Jason!!!" I called out and waved.
The red in the distance waved back when I lowered my hand. The red head ran over to me and set his backpack on the concrete sidewalk.
"Not late, I see." I said, jokingly. He laughed as he looked around the street.
"I'm never late. You're just early."
"Pfft. Yeah right."
"It's true. But wheres Shell?" He asked.
"She's coming." I said as I looked at my phone.
While we were talking about notes things we were studying for different classes, a black raven lowered down to us and landed on Jason's shoulder.
"See, Told you she was coming."
"Amelia do me a favor and shut up." He said as he laughed.
"Okay but seriously people are staring at us. So do the transformation thing"
The raven flew off and transformed into a girl with pink hair and black eyes.
"Hey, what'd I miss?" She asked.
"Nothing much." Jason answered.
