I am running. Well, not running, rushing, is a better word to describe it. I am rushing downstairs. My brother has arrived with his girlfriend, and his girlfriend's sister. I'm not really thrilled, but angelica is. I don’t know why. It's not that big. She grabs my hair and all the family lines up in the mudroom waiting for my brother to enter. And he does, and he and his girlfriend are swarmed with hugs. By mom, by me, by Louis. And while I'm hugging him, I see something in the pile. A strand of black hair. It's probably his girlfriends. When the hug pile stops so we can see his girlfriend. I saw a familiar face. It was a girl his age, with beautiful long black hair. She had the tiniest, insy bittiest bit of similarity to Corrina. Except nice. And when she introduced us to her sister. It hit me. There, angelica and I were. Looking straight at Corrina. Shock pierced my heart. I was horrified. Corrina was to. But we couldn’t scream. We couldn’t talk. We couldn’t yell. We were like trapped birds. Trapped birds in tiny little cages. Mom didn’t recognize her, because she led them both away to the kitchen. Angelica went upstairs. So did I, following her. “Angelica?” I call out. I walk down our hallway and stop at her room. I open it a little and I see my sister hyperventilating. Gasping, trying to catch her breath. I sit down beside her. “Breath, breath” she continues this for about 13 minutes. Me, trying to comfort hr the whole time. Till Corrina coms up in her room. I turn to face her. “What?” oo, did that sound a little snarky? Yeah, it meant to come off that way. “I just wanted to say, though our siblings our dating, doesn’t mean I'm going to stop being rude to you.” “Why are you even rude to us anyways!?” I retaliate. “Yeah, we did nothing to you!” “Sure, you didn’t! I saw what you did, you broke our promise, Angelica!” ok, now I'm stuck in the middle. My sister's expression changes from rage to confusion. Just like me. As if she said too much, she covers her mouth and runs out the room. I look out angelicas window, which also faces the front, I see her run out and into a silver car. “What just happened?” I ask my sister. “I don’t know...” 159Please respect copyright.PENANAouS81cAs3d
