I've already wanted to write some of these ideas, however I'm incredibly lazy and do not feel like sitting down and further developing them? So here I transfer temporary ownership until I feel like dealing with mess that I've made up in my mind.
Part one focuses around this dude living in a pre-industrial era, probably in a country that's like England but exactly because this is a fantasy world. He accidentally stumbles upon a hole and falls in and there all sorts of hellish trials that he must overcome in order to reach the end. In part two he finally reached the end however he finds himself in a lab where gruesome tests are performed on their subjects to bring about an industrial revolution. In part 3 he escapes however he is now a flesh eater and no longer a human. He is ostracized by his people including his mother who he had been using to push himself forward the whole time. Heartbroken, he goes on a suicide mission to expose and destroy the corruption of the lab. This one's ending is also up for interpretation as to whether he dies or not either way the truth is exposed. We don't know if he lives the rest of his life in dissatisfaction with as he is a flesh eating monster or if he never able to find peace in the afterlife. Either way, lab is destroyed, yet, MC still gets the short end of the stick paying the price for something he had no control over. I would honestly collab with you if you had idea on where to go with it because I really like the concept.
