As a method of torture, several newly recruited soldiers are taken as POWs and tortured using a device that captures their minds and forces them to be put into simulations of whatever their captors choose. They can relive their worst days or be put in the horrors of war with a serial killer chasing them. Anything the captors want, the soldiers will be put through. It is up to the soldiers to find a way to escape their own heads and madness, and find a way to be in the real world again(it can get really meta where nothing is real and they can never escape their heads and they eventually accept it)
