I can't BELIEVE he was born like this at all. No one is just born with one eye, and where the other should be is completely smooth. Even these Irkens can't be simply born that way. "Well, what is it like?" I ask, now curious about his one-eyed life. I mean, it's bound to be interesting. "It's not that different from normal life, I just have to be extra careful, that's all really," Zee says, seeming completely calm abt the situation. "Really? Well, that's a relief." I respond, feeling a bit silly for thinking it would be any different from ordinary life. I mean, it's not like he is blind... UGH! Why am I feeling like this? I shouldn't have even asked..... "Hey, are you okay there?" He asks me, seeming to be truly worried. "I'm fine." I lie, feeling like a jerk for not being honest, but I don't want him to worry for some reason. Maybe it is because we just met? Or is it something more? Oh well, only time will tell I guess.
I look around the house, seeing what I bet is some Irken tech set up neatly. "So, what does all this stuff do?" I question, pointing to the tech. "Oh, that's just for contacting the Tallest." He says, and I look at it closer, it does look like it was made to contact people or things. Why was I looking for a potential weapon of doom? Great, now Alex is making me paranoid, good going man, like I needed this right now when I'm visiting Zee's house. "So, what are the Tallest like? I never met them." I ask, curious to see his reaction. "Oh, well, they are my leaders, and, um, like, they're cool I guess..." He says, clearly nervous, and I can't blame him, I mean, they are a higher power. I would be nervous if I knew the president and was asked what they were like.
