Word got out that Helena had given birth to a daughter that had white hair like her. But, Helena was put in a dungeon, I think they thought she was a witch or she was no use anymore now that they had her daughter. I visited her in the dungeon, she looked so different, her hair was cut short, like a guy’s. Her eyes look so calm but sad, “Abel, I’m gonna get executed tomorrow.” She silently spoke, “What?” I said, “ Why?! This isn’t fair!” The day of the execution, I saw her smile at me for the last time as they villagers set her body on fire, her eyes looked full of relief, painlesss, as if you’d just set free a wild animal, “In our next life” she mouthed. I painted a picture of her, as to not forget her and her appearance, what she gave me, the opportunity she gifted me to be able to love her in this life. Soon, I found her, I met her, Helena’s child, she looked exactly like Helena, like a mini version of her. I could finally finish my portrait of Helena, my memories of her are starting to fade, my portrait of her is all I have. I don’t wanna forget! I don’t wanna forget!!
