There are two classes of Loirai (what those with supernatural gifts are called) — Nightmares and Daydreams. I'm a Nightmare, and because of that, it means my power is dangerous. I suppose I can see why, as my power over darkness is unrivaled in the world of Loirai. There are millions of us, and we live alongside the human race, most of us can pass as human, but for some, humanity cannot ignore our appearances. It's a shame that they had to classify us as Nightmares, though. Because if there's one thing you should know about life as a Nightmare, it's this — it's scarily easy to dress like a Daydream.
