"Jeremy!" A rough voice startled him, "Jumpy, aren't you?"
A man walked toward the guard. A bit taller and huge, muscular build. Jeremy just sighed and stared at the man, "I wouldn't be jumpy if you didn't have to shout like that everytime you meet me, David."
David looked into the cell, "Disgusting being. Why did they have to create something like this and have us babysit it?"
"Don't know." Jeremy said, returning his attention to the beast. It was half human, half reptilian, half lizard, the face covered in mixture of changing color. 'And something about the face too. It looked so familiar,' Jeremy thought.
The arm of the beast twitched, "I-I think it moved."
A loud laugh, "Oh come on, Jeri. You spend too much time looking at it that your head begun to mess up. Maybe you could go pray yourself out."
"Whatever, Dave. I'm going." Jeremy said and went toward the door at the end of the corridor. David kept his gaze at the creature.
"Filthy, inhuman creature." He mumbled and spat into the cell, "Guards! Make sure the 'creature' is secured all times. Or don't. He's technically dead anyway." A few guards standing as watchers of the corridor laughed. The beast kept breathing heavy, rasped breath. David then followed Jeremy's track. Little did he knew, hell was about to break loose.
As no one kept watch, the beast ripped free its hands from the shackles with ease in silence and finally raised its head- terrifying face shifted to the color of crimson blood which spelt one word... doom.
"Soon..." It whispered as a sinister smile formed across its face. And the terror begun.
(A/N : I'm not quite sure with the first issue but I created this as a continuation and as my entry. So, if it doesn't match up with the opening, well, let me know and I'll edit it 😊)
