In an unnamed city people were all going about their daily lives, people were all going about their Daily lives as they would. However things wouldn't be such a way for much longer, on the more poverty famished side of the city something was happening...something terrible.

"Olivia sweetheart, happy birthday baby girl." A young lady was sitting down at her table with her family, her Father and Mother having baked a cake for her birthday. The Family sat there happily, she made a wish and her mother began to cut the cake. Suddenly they heard screams of terror and fear, the father checked outside and began to grab his family.

"Dad? What's wrong?"

"I don't know and I don't want to find out." Her father got out and carried his daughter, Olivia saw things that day, she saw massacres of people. For some reason the entire world had gone to hell in moments, other people began to kill and maim one another, their eyes completely black and leaking a liquid as they rushed out and began to cause a mass of attacks to happen. However other people were white eyed and fighting to help people but quickly succumbed..now little Olivia was wandering through a forest slowly trekking through the thicket of bushes, grass and low hanging vines stumbling and slouching painfully...but for some reason..the pain began to stop..it began to subside.
Despite her being deep in the forest the screams rang out, they echoed into the night as if they were directly next to her. She kept walking and walking without anything in her mind, nothing in her mind but she seemed focused..dead set on finding a specific spot..to find a specific place. On her walk she spotted a metal plate wedged into a tree that said.
"Turn Back Now"....I wish I could...but I can't afford to do that..." Instead of obeying the threat she instead pushed on, she shall not turn back, it felt different the further in she went...as if she was meant to be here..like she had a purpose here. Treading on she soon came to a stop at a bridge examining it before she began crossing the bridge, till she reached the middle section of it. She looked out at the running river looking down to see which way the current ran. Once she found out the direction of the current she faced the opposite way of it and began to think back to what she'd heard.

"Heed The Call...Through The World I Fall..For Home Is No Longer Here And Death Draws Near." Nothing happened, she looked around angry and began to scream out.

"It didn't even work! What do you want me to say?! Abracafuckindabra?!" She shouts angrily and falls to her knees crying as she balls her fists. Just then she heard the rustling of leaves and the manic snarls of something, as she looked out she saw two glowing eyes. Just then the river began rumbling and bubbling as if a geyser were about to erupt, soon enough a whirlpool began to show as a wave would come rushing from behind and smashing into the bridge breaking it and launching her off and into the whirlpool.
"Gah! Whoa! A-AAAAAAAAH!!!!" She fell off and right into the whirlpool falling only to see the spiral of a portal before her vision faded away...
The young lady opened her eyes and she saw a ray of sunlight, did it work? She couldn’t tell so she began looking around quickly, realizing she was in a garden. She stood up looking around and examining the area..it looked as if she were in some sort of greenhouse, however the sun felt off. She would walk over to one of the windows of the greenhouse and touch it, nothing. So she walked over to a metal bar and grabbed it, even leaning against the bar, yet she didn’t feel anything as if the sun wasn’t even heating anything up yet the room was warm...she began to feel the injuries she had sustained prior and hissed a bit. This all felt weird, she felt pain but not the heat or well she did and didn’t?

"Well this is peculiar." A voice rang out waking the little girl from her trance, she opened her eyes groggy and in pain a day of sunshine hitting her face..did it work?
380Please respect copyright.PENANA5GdVFvFpRw
"Excuse me." The voice came from a man who was well, very tall fair-skinned male with white hair looking down at her through his clear rectangle glasses.
The Man examined the young lady for a few moments before stepping away from her, walking over toward a plot of dirt that harbored some vegetables along with a small fountain. He begins to pick some of the vegetables, the young lady watches as he cleans all the vegetables he gathered and the water running down a drain which leads back to the machine that purifies the water and then sends it back to the other plots to water the vegetables.

"You stare an awful lot don't you?" The Tall Man turned around and faced the girl, she finally noticed the height of the man as her vision became clearer, the man was large, really really tall so much so that he towered over her.

"Who are you?!" She shouted trying to get him to back away.
380Please respect copyright.PENANA8kKKOosjct
"Is there a reason for your arrival here?" The Tall Man asked, did he not hear her? Was her voice unable to be used? He looked down at the young lady only to see her staring at him, he leaned down and looked toward her.

"Fear not, I have no reason to harm you." He reached forward and she began to reach out just before her vision obscured and she saw. A Man On Fire..
The fear consumed her causing her to try and claw his face but evaded her with ease while she scurried away from the man and behind a couple of boxes. She looked around and found gardening shears picking them up and aiming them at him, the man walked over to her only to have her thrust the shears at him putting as much body weight behind it as possible. The man effortlessly grabbed the shears by the blade and lightly tugged them free from her grasp, placing them on a nearby table.380Please respect copyright.PENANAR6uNm100OQ
"This is a perfectly good suit. Please refrain from tarnishing it with a stab wound." He said to the girl as he crouched, taking both her hands, placing an apple in one and a bag containing three more apples in the other. She noticed he was reverted back to his more human look which made her freeze up.
380Please respect copyright.PENANAzLNp1ayOFZ
"Also may you please just take some apples in order to sustain yourself, humans do not have as much magic if any as monsters do. Food is important as is water in order to stave off malnourishment which in turn prevents starvation." He spoke in a much firmer and agitated tone, soon standing back up and warning her.

"Don't make it a habit of threatening to stab every monster down here or my daughter will be forced to take action." As The Tall Man finishes his words he begins to walk in the direction of the presumed exit, she watches him all the while seeing him stop at a door and placing an envelope in a nearby basket beside it which harbored money. The Tall Man opened the door about to step out and be on with his day before he felt a slight tug on his suit which got his attention prompting him to turn around, as he did he heard a crunch and saw the young lady had let go of his suit and was currently eating the apple.

"Thank..you." She struggles to say as if her throat was damaged, she would clear her throat just to try and fix her voice. He would turn to face her as he crouched down with one knee on the floor to try and be closer to her height once more, beginning to open his mouth to speak once more. However before any words left his lips he noticed something on her face. He wasn't examining her much before but now noticed why she was so frantic.

"Easy I mean you no harm, just stay still for a moment." He aimed his hand at her and she began to float as her wounds and clothing began to quickly heal. She panicked a bit before she realized.

"Done." He patted her on the head and began to walk away.
"Mmm? Wha?! Thank you!" She called out to The Tall Man as she followed behind him, seeing her new clothes and her healed wounds, she stepped out, opening the door and letting the sunlight beam in fully which ended up blinding her for a moment. The Tall Man continued walking onward following a stone pathway that was laid before the greenhouse, she saw a beautiful garden with sentient plants were somewhat alive. They cowered away from The Man as she followed him...but they seemed interested in her. She reached out and touched them watching as they nuzzled against her hand making cooing sounds, The Man turned back looking back at her before averting his gaze as a voice called out.

"Florist welcome again and thank you for coming in here with a more human look, it really helps keep the plants from wilting due to the intense heat." Was that his name?

"Of course, merely showing respect." He spoke back to the voice, curious; she looked past the man and saw he was speaking to a large woman.
"Huh? If I knew you'd bring a child, I would've made snacks'' The Woman jokes.

"I didn't bring her. I first figured that you knew her but now I know she just arrived." Florist spoke with the woman before she looked over at the little lady.

"What's your name? I'm Krista The Watcher Of The Gateway and This is The Florist, Lord Of The Grand Inferno." The girl began to part her lips and speak.

"Olivia...My name is Olivia."
“Well then Olivia, welcome to The Underworld.” Krista reached out patting Olivia on the head smiling showing her razor sharp fangs.

“Alright let’s go!” Krista’s personality was very carefree and uppity, she would begin walking with The Florist who'd feel his suit grabbed by Olivia which caused him to look down at her.

“You can’t possibly have become attached to me this soon.” The Florist spoke as he tried to pry Olivia off, she let go with a shake.

“Florist Olivia is clearly scared and is looking to someone for safety, can’t you offer her that?” Krista's nice voice got much more authoritative and serious, The Florist gave off a sigh before he leaned down and held Olivia's hand.

“I shall stay until we arrive at your residence but no longer, I have important things to tend to.” Krista smiled at the scene before her as she then began to escort the pair through a large door that was labeled as “Pathway To The Lost Lands”.

“Thanks Florist, I know how many terrible memories this area brings back but to bear it for the child’s sake is..very commendable.” Krista said in a sort of empathic tone while gently caressing Olivia’s head. The Florist spoke not a word as they continued on toward two doors that Krista opened with a spell.

“If..you want to leave you can..I don’t want you to deal with whatever it is that’ll hurt you.”

“I’ll be fine, you worry more about keeping yourself in check, it's obvious you’ve been through a lot.” The Florist spoke as they entered, a bridge was there and Olivia looked around and for a moment but nothing was there. Until her eyes locked with two blue glowing lights and within mere moments more began to emerge.

"What is that?"
“Look away from there kid, that is The Fallen Kingdom.. a place where most monsters of old..are kept..unable to die because of what the scourge...” Krista sighed and looked up at The Florist.

"Sadly we don't know, we just know if we touch it or it touches us. We become one with i-." Krista stopped when she saw Florist looking down at the fallen, he crouched down reaching out to them only to be stopped by a barrier.

“.......”

“You alright Florist?” She asked watching him steady his breathing, he was brought back to reality when he felt Olivia grip his hand, snapping him out of his trance. He would take a deep breath and stare for a moment longer, soon he nodded and began walking again to the end of the hall. They entered an elevator and Krista pressed the up arrow making the elevator ascend. The Florist fixed his tie while Krista messed with her hair, Olivia could feel the tension between the two oozing. This called for an info check.

“Soooo did you two have some sort of affair or somethin?” The Florist's eyes widened as he looked down toward Olivia.

“Pft! Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha! No no no, I mean yeah The Florist is a handsome man. That's not us kid, he's actually my husband’s old friend that's why.” Krista cleared the air.

“But who knows, maybe something was there at one point.” A ding was heard as they arrived at the proper floor and stepped off altogether.

"What if those things break out?"
380Please respect copyright.PENANA8Ivs7dUlVF
"Hm? Eh the elevator is enough to throw off The Fallen, as long as they aren't guided they don’t know many basic things.” Krista explained to Olivia, The Florist nodded his head and began speaking.
380Please respect copyright.PENANAuAooiofgo0
“That sad outcome was brought about by the actions of war, by the way what have they taught children about the war between Mortal and Monster?” He asks Olivia.
380Please respect copyright.PENANA8AW6SnATqB
"I never got to really go to school much but I heard from a few friends and they rarely speak about it. From what I’ve learned Magic posed a threat to humans so they gave monsters a choice. Refrain from the use of magic unless properly authorized by government and law or they must never use magic again, many Monsters thought it was unfair so they attacked when these terms were spoken of which ensued in a war-” FWOOM!! Krista would quickly grab Olivia pulling her close as The Florist burst into flames turning into the flame imbued creature she saw, the bright white flames. He noticed his sudden outburst and calmed down. His flames died down before disappearing and showing his more human form once more.

“Apologies...I should've expected that over the years stories become fraudulent as more people hear it...I can’t fault all humans for this mistake, however it doesn't mean I can't harbor some form of rage.” The Florist spoke his mind before he fixed his tie and glasses walking ahead. Krista gently ushered Olivia to follow as she began walking after The Florist. They all walked through a long hallway walking onward...and onward….annnnd onward...aaaaand onward. Soon the tension was broken by some snickering from Krista, The Florist stopped walking and looked at her before he rubbed his temple.

“I just realized this..so childish Krista…” He turned around and walked backwards suddenly disappearing in front of their very eyes.

“A-Ah wh-wha? WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT?!”
380Please respect copyright.PENANAtRCQkv9tjb
“Pft ha ha ha ha ha! Relax Olivia, The Florist just finally figured out this hallway.” Krista holds Olivia’s hand as she then turns around with her and begins walking backwards suddenly feeling an odd tingly sensation behind her which soon disperses, Krista turned around and saw that the once light filled hallway had turned into a dark abyss. She could hear water and quickly realized they were behind a waterfall. She saw The Florist sighing as he quickly hurried through the waterfall Krista laughing as she ran through with Olivia looking at the drenched man with a smile, Florist looked at the ladies and ignited for a split second to dry off. He raised a hand and both of them dried off as well. They continued on their journey Olivia smiling examining the cave which was lined with crystals and beautiful pink glowing flowers all around. The flowers were all arranged in such a way that they made a path which they followed. Olivia kept close behind but for some reason, she could hear whispers and she saw a flower...which didn't open up like the others.
