A small Japanese Chin ran out the door and greeted Hayami. It took me a moment to realize it was Tadeo, I’d only ever seen Tadeo on the phone but he was even cuter in person. Hayami got him two months ago, I had completely forgotten about Tadeo because I was so focused on the band and the apartment window scenery that I didn’t even think about Tadeo. It took Tadeo a moment to realize who I was, he immediately started jumping as if he was desperate for me to pick him up and hold him. Hayami opens the door and the moment I see what her apartment looks like, my jaw literally makes contact with the floor. It’s so luxurious and beautiful! I imagined it to be cool but this is way beyond anything I could ever imagine! I feel like a rag in her apartment. Sure, the apartment was amazing but, when I see the scenery from the window, my jaw drops to the floor below us. There are so many lights! It looks so calm and welcoming, the big buildings look small from the window. I press my hand against the cold glass and my warm breath makes fog on the huge window, I feel so happy and warm inside. Tadeo follows me to my room and jumps on my bed when I open the door. I get on the bed too and tuck myself in, Tadeo sleeps right next to me as I caress him while I drift off to sleep.
