Her hands are fatigued. Chopping, slashing and thrusting demons mechanically and almost on a reflex action mode makes her mind fatigued as well!
93! 94! And 97! (This hit just goes through 3 bodies like a barbecued skewer).
Her hair and the cheongsam are all soaked with blood. The strong flavor of the imp's blood and body fluid keeps her conscious.
The demon troop is reluctant to charge. Despite there are number of desperados large enough to squash their opponent to death.
But fear, fear suppresses rationality and analytical thinking. They retreat, abandon the golden chance and maybe the only chance to ambush their sworn enemy.
"So....who is the 98th?"
The fierce dragon tattoo on her body progresses to tightening her whole body, dragging her to breath heavily like an injured beast. The blade in her hands is burning in a rigorous red. The atmosphere around her is so in tense and burning: THIS IS HELL!
"I was raised from Hell. By the moment my parents were murdered, and I was confiscated as partial payment of their debts, I was in hell.
The Yakuzu who "adopted" me ran numerous prosperous business. At the age of 9, I helped transmitting drugs. At the age of 16, I served as prostitute and AV actress.
But once, I could not bear the "special request" of my client that I stabbed his eyes with a ball pen and caused 4 of his body guards seriously injured.
Luckily I was not sent to jail. My boss was more than happy to discover my special talent: an inborn combat genius. They tattooed me and named me "Crimson Dragon". It was the first time I felt being treated with humanity. I was treated with combat training everyday, proper accommodation and 3 meals a day.

"So...who is the 100th!"She just slaughters 2 more imps before she faints. Using the blade to support her broken body, she witnesses several imps just fusing to become a 7 feet tall Daemon.
"It is time to pay off! Yakuzu girl!"
The Daemon makes a big punch, big enough to beat her down. He picks up a spear on the ground and pierce it straight through her chest, until it goes through the ground. The girl has no sign of life. But to secure her death, the Daemon picks up another blade and decides to cut off her head.
"To Hell now!"
"Satoh san, do you really mean it? To help THIS GIRL OUT?"
"There is no evidence she gets involved in those serious crime. So there is no way we can keep her here."
"Satoh! Just take her home! She is REAL HOT!"
"Shut up you bastard." The police agent just finished his paper work and was about to leave.
Outside, the girl was being interrogated by the policemen, although she seemed to have remained silence as if she was a mute.
"Hey! Colleague! Just let her go!"Both the policeman in charge and the girl were surprised, just that the former whispered in relief since he could finally keep his hands-off this "weirdo".
Satoh stepped out of the headquarter. At that moment he could finally take a break with a couple of cigarettes. After all, he has prepared and taken charges of today's operation for a month and he was the REAL DEAL. Now that the operation was called a big success, 35 key members of the Mob being arrested while 15 criminals killed with no casualties on our side, he was a bit distracted at last by the existence of a teenage body guard of the Yakuzu Boss. Although she was caught in the act, she showed no resistance at all.
Obviously it was not because she was scared, more likely she was waiting to be arrested or, simply to be killed.

Meanwhile the girl stopped in her way of leaving while she noticed Satoh, the police agent who just "saved" her.

"......"the girl just stood still. She was so lost and confused.
Satoh finished his last cigarette and approached her. He took out a note paper, wrote down something and then put it into the girl's hand.
"My mobile and my address, find me if you have any difficulties."
He was about to get on his car when he heard the girl yelled from a distance,
"Why!?"
The police agent didn't answer. He probably could not think of a reason as well. So he just smiled and drove away.

Then in the next morning, the girl visited Satoh's place,
"Adopt me. I serve you in return."
"Am I dead?
Is here Hell? Does Hell look worser than what I have been?"
This gives the girl incentive to open her eyes. The spear that nailed her on the ground is gone. The Daemon and the imps are all lying dead on ground. And there is a human-like figure standing beside of her.

The figure moves close, having the Scarlet Blade in HIS hands. He cuts a deep wound on his arm and blood comes out. Instead of dropping on the ground, he feeds the girl with his blood.
The girl gradually regains consciousness and she realizes that the figure is indeed not a human, and neither is demonic! Then with a sudden thrill of resurgence exploding deep inside her chest, she feels a heat streaming through her whole body and drives her to coma again.

Satoh left his apartment. He did write down reminder for the girl to follow:
She went to supermarket to buy stuff using his credit card. "Just buy utmost necessities. No junk."
Then she came back, cleaned the floor and did some laundry work.
"Meow~"Just on the way back, she played a while with the stray cats and fed them one by one.(Which was not as per Satoh's instructions.)

"No.4: Study.....ok I will try my best." Yui looked at those books Satoh had prepared for her and flipped through them, at least she tried.
At 7, she started preparing dinner. Well, everyone learnt how to cook on YouTube and so could she. Then she waited until 8 and usually she turned up eating alone while watching TV.

Yui walks passed her and before she leaves, she stops and says,
"I will find you if I want more <lair>!"
"Just a friendly reminder, they have sent The Widow to track you. Stay alert yourself. I don't wanna lose my income source."
"I don't need friends. Just help me to find more enemies."
"He has come."
Yui stops and turns back to the drunk woman.
"WHERE IS HE NOW?"she points her blade towards her.
"....."the woman doesn't stay back. Instead she moves closer with her chest just reaching the point of the blade.
"BEG ME! You YAKUZU!"the point just goes 2mm into her skin before she stops. "I may tell if you puppy be good...."
Yui stares in the woman's eyes, "Liar. You don't have any idea I am sure." Then she draws back her blade and leaves.

The Widow. That sounds perfect. For a leather opponent like her, HE shall reveal.
"Agent Satoh, I think you know pretty well why we meet here."
In front of Satoh, there were a row of 4 people sitting side by side.
"I am Agent Midori, the chief commander of our Nippon Anti-oni Division, [HOUND]. And as you see we only have 4 in total, key members right now."
Satoh moved his eye sight from the girl sitting and talking in the middle, to the elegant woman right beside her.
"This is Mrs Foster. Her husband was the former member until he sacrificed his life in a mission, she replaced him."

The elegant woman smiled while Satoh nodded to greet.Just that her smile was so simpering and foxy that made him very uncomfortable. This was a detective hunch: this woman was dangerous!
"This is Ms. Maki." Midori kept introducing another woman sitting at the far end of the row, "Sorry that I cannot say too much regarding her background because of certain agreement we have entered beforehand. Yet they both,"Midori just referred to the two females, "are your future partners and they both carry their own Evokers."
Satoh tried to greet her but he found her eyes had kept closing with a straight face right from the beginning so he just saved it.
"And I am.."the guy sat right next to Midori tried to interrupt.
"And this is Kazunari, my assistant."
"I joined the Division just because of Midori san. She is my idol."
The commander stared at her follower in order to stop him, and she continued,
"We are looking forward to your participation and indeed we are trying to expand our division in the near future. Government has relocated sufficient resources nowadays since the last several incidents of serious casualties that proves the imminent dangerous of our new enemy: Demons."
"I have faced them once. And not even guns can make much damages to them."
"But THIS CAN." Midori just pointed at a Samurai Sword on the table in between them.

"5 years and 7 months 15 days ago from today, the first EVOKER was found in Kyoto. It was the SPEAR that Mr. Foster once ENGAGED with, and now by his wife Mrs Natalie Foster.
"Then we had Ms Maki joined us with her own Evoker. Since then, the invasion of demons in human reign became more and more vigorous day by day. No one knew where they came from and what their ultimate goal is, food? Or extinction of human beings? A NEMESIS to us sent by God?

Midori smiled as a reply to her and continued, "And such engagement is so random and unpredictable and even the process varies just case by case."
"Mine happened during the funeral of my husband. When I hold the spear in my arms, it just <trembled> and I just felt....we were attached to each other!" Mrs Foster's pitch suddenly raised at the last few words making the proclamation just too suspicious.
Both Midori and Satoh were dubious. While another summoner, Ms Maki remained silence. Satoh wondered if she was asleep.
"In my opinion, it is the EVOKER which chooses their users. That is why, Satoh san, frankly speaking you are not our first target, and not expected to be the last, for our recruitment. And it is only the case of Scarlet Blade, which at least shows some response to some candidates. As for the other, the Black Cresent, we still don't have a clue. "Midori further explained the situation.
"So...May I ask why I was chosen and what happened to my precedents? They just quit due to unsuccessful engagement?"
"They all died, mostly from assaults of demons. It is so obvious you will become the target of our enemy once you are chosen as the Summoner especially you are still on <probation>. The rest just committed suicide due to unbearable stress."

"Hi darling! Do you mind if WE sit here and have a drink? WE have driven a long way here." Inside the small and dirty apartment unit, Yui sees an elegant woman in a little black dress, displaying the perfect leg stretched seated pose on the wrecked sofa.
She is holding a long spear on her knee.
Yui doesn't answer. She draws her sword and is preparing for a fight.
"Oh, little pretty! It is so unfair! Do you see WE are not ready yet?"
The Widow smiles in a foxy way while standing up slowly with her spear.

A Snake, which upper half of its face as a human with wicked greenish eyes, crawls from her back, grinning at Yui, to show its terrifying long and narrow teeth. Yui's blood seems to be frozen by an unidentified fear.
"Go find this guy called Kazunari Tamiya. He will arrange everything for you. And...I may not be able to visit you so often in the future. So you.....you just take care of yourself."
Satoh came back earlier than he did usually that day. He told Yui his departure during their dinner. He spoke without looking at the girl.
"Why?"
"I told you the guy will make any necessary arrangement for you, money, accommodation and even your-"
"ANSWER ME! WHY?"
Satoh was speechless, he could just keep eating.
Yui stood up. Took off her clothes, being naked and tried to hold him in her arms. "Fuck me."
Satoh pushed her away and yelled to her'
"What the heck is in your mind!?"he grabbed the clothes on the floor and covered her. Then he just realized how depressed they both were. Nothing more to say he could only leave right now before they both broke down. So he opened the door.

Satoh stopped. Could not help but turn back to face her again, he needed that answer himself too.

While the two were hoping the World should stop spinning from now on, Satoh's cellphone rang. This was the cellphone assigned to each members within the Division for in-loop communication so Satoh knew something serious could be happening.
"Satoh san! We are under attack! Meanwhile Mrs Foster is protecting us. But there is another outrage broken in Shibuya. Ms Maki would give support over there. Please come back immediately! We are afraid that the demons are targeting on our fresh EVOKER."Midori was speaking on the phone. She could still remain calm and analytical even through situations didn't sound good.
"Also, stay alert! They may come for you too!"
(It is so obvious you will become the target of our enemy once you are chosen as the Summoner.)
Satoh rushed to the window after Midori hung up. Just then he saw people downstair screaming and fleeing from two big Oni-beasts.
"Take me with you! I can fight and assist you!" The Crimson Dragon was confident. "I haven't ceased my training during the time."
No the best idea but Satoh had no choice but rushed down with Yui. He intentional attracted the attention of the Oni-beasts before they got on their Suzuki -
Chase me, CREEP! Stop hurting innocent people you cowards!
"Your sword art is fantastic! Pretty."
The Widow doesn't stop her vigorous attack while she is praising her opponents. Although her blow is not as powerful as Yui's, the speed is simply fearful! And the ranged attack is so annoying! Yui has never fought enemy with ranged weapon, mostly melee even with demons. And the spear just stops her from making any effective attack. Also, she need to keep half of her attention on the Snake behind the Widow,

"How about THIS? Pretty." The spear suddenly BREAKS UP INTO TWO! The distance between the fighters shortens immediately while the number of blows doubled.
The speed of each thrust is sonic fast and is indeed reached the limit of a human can perform. But strangely, Yui can see every trail of the attack clearly. To her it is still "manageable" to dodge or block. She is just waiting for a chance for a counter attack. She knows very well she may just have a single chance to win.
Yui keeps moving back until she almost reaches the wall. Then suddenly she turns, walks straight up the wall until she reaches the ceiling. Then she flips backward, lands just behind the Widow, still back facing her and make a backhand thrust.
All these actions are happening within seconds that the Widow can't see clearly or even has time to predict. But she doesn't worry too much, becoz she has a reliable alliance.
The Snake charges!
Yui, without taking her eyes from the Demon, abandons the backhand thrust and slashes in all her might towards its head. That IS SUPPOSED TO BE THE CHANCE SHE IS WAITING FOR! FORGET ABOUT THE SUMMONER, JUST KILL THE DEMON FIRST!
However, the Snake draws back its bite and swings its tail to tie Yui's arm. Then it pulls her forward and ready to devour her head!
Yui nails her feet on the ground and bends the upper part of her body backward almost 90 degree to avoid the devour.
Then she sees two sharp ends of the spear pointing towards her head, and the wicked smiling face of the Widow.....
All the EVOKERS without being engaged (2 in total right at that moment) were supposed to be kept in 100 spots which the HOUND called them TOWERS and each Tower was concealed by SHIELD (an enclosure which is made with alloy of mysterious metals -one of those technological achievements by the Anti-Demon Division) which could RESIST the demonic attack in certain extent - that is what Kazunari had mentioned "specific measures"before to Satoh.
The 10 Towers were situated in a huge interlinking network spreading through somewhere in Tokyo, more than 30 meters underground.
MIDORI USED TO MOVE FROM ONE TOWER TO ANOTHER ALONE DAILY WITH THE 2 UNENGAGED EVOKER by the super high speed robotic capsule car.
This was supposed to be the best way to avoid them from being stolen or damaged by intruders.
Since the route of each transmission was decided by computer, not even Midori or any of the key members themselves know where the Evokers would be situated everyday.

Now that the Tower, where the unengaged Scarlet Blade, was invaded by hundreds of demons, mostly imps and goblins led by huge Daemons and Oni-beasts.

Satoh and Yui descended the car and fought their way towards that Tower, situated underneath a commercial building just looks extremely normal from outside. While most of the floors of the building were vulnerable to invasion, the Anti-Oni Division was situated on a basement floor, inaccessible by normal and totally concealed from outside by feet-thick alloyed SHIELD.
They managed to enter the floor at last.
"Satoh san, take this and join Ms Maki at Shibuya JR East Station. Then Maki and HER DEMON will handle it."Midori passed the Scarlet Blade to Satoh and she noticed that Yui was with him. "We cannot spare manpower to protect you but I am sure you can take care of yourself." She then gave the pistol and ammo to Yui.
"What about you?"
"I will be fine. And there is still one thing I need to finish myself. Go! BEFORE THEY COME!"
"Who-"
"Thank you for waiting! Guys." said by a frivolous voice behind them.
"KAZUNARI SAN!?" While Satoh was shocked by that funny but awkward face, Midori was calm and seemed well-prepared in advance.
"So, say your CODE NAME IN [HOME]."
"I am [V]. Nice to meet you all. And on behalf of our big family, I would be more than happy to invite both Ms Midori, our BIG BRAIN and Satoh, our up-and-coming Summoner, to our [HOME]!"
"What the hell are you all talking about? Midori san, you definitely are hiding something from me." Satoh was both angry and anxious. He knew he had somehow been cheated and he was just regretted to had Yui being involved.
"I am afraid I should spoil you guys but there is no story time . So follow me or I may use so-called....minimum force?" The slick operator spread his arms out as if he was holding something. Then with a soft light glowing "like a moon", a strange weapon just appeared in his hands.
"THE BLACK CRESENT?" This time Midori was REALLY SHOCKED while leaving Satoh in puzzle again.
"And let me introduce you my Demon,
WHEEL MONK!"
A big haunting face just emerged from the ceiling surrounded by a spinning wheel in fire. An ancient demon that used to pulverize every human it crossed over.
"Our smart boss, what is in your hand now? 1 immature summoner and 2 Pretty Cure against us? Hahaha!"
"Who said we have 1 summoner here?" Just when Midori finished her sentence, a strong and tightened body came out from a secret door next to her. "Ms Maki, please only summon your demon if both me and the Evoker are about to be kidnapped." "My Skull Club is good enough. Just don't forget to buy me a drink after this!"
"You have my words. Ms Maki. But I want the [HOME] member alive."
"WHAT THE?! Are you thinking of capturing me? Seriously?"
Without any command, the Wheel Monk shot out numerous fire balls to Maki. Just in a blink of the eye, the valkyrie made some fancy swing of her Skull Club to smash the fire balls into sparkles. It is a strange weapon with a human skull embedded in a spheric club. It creates a terrifying sound like screams of a human being in high speed swinging.
"Ms Yui, shoot the demon!"
"Are you kidding me? Using human weapon against a de-" [V] didn't finish his sentence because 1. The ammo was not useless. It did cause the Wheel Monk to dodge since it felt that they can be LETHAL; 2. He has no spare time as he has to response to Satoh's slash with his Scarlet Blade.
"You don't even know how to use a sword to fight. So funny are you, Mr. Policeman."

As expected! Kazunari, [V], made a sudden side flip and threw the Cresent towards Satoh. While this was too easy to dodge, Satoh immediately figured out the target was not him but the Yui behind him, who was focusing on her demon opponent.

<<Kazunari had been closely monitored 1 year ago since the murders of the few candidates before Satoh. No evidence has shown that he had committed any crime, though he was still the number 1 suspect. Midori knew so well she may not easily capture or arrest him and she rather preferred to wait and to find out what exactly [HOME] had to do with these - a secret organization formed purely by Summoners and was in high profile to lend a helping hand to the Government in regard of upholding the public safety. It made sense if they are targeting on any UNENGAGED EVOKERS. Yet after the Division had finished analyzing the collective informations, evidence had led to several interesting findings:
All the former candidates being murdered were most UNLIKELY to be qualified according to the level of resonance of the Evoker;
[HOME] seemed to wait until the "perfect" candidate, Satoh to appear and KILL HIM BEFORE HE LEARNT HOW TO SUMMON;
The Aki-Oni was most unlikely being summoned. He rather REVEAL HIMSELF OF HIS OWN WILL.
Since Yui has no engagement with the Evoker, she was less likely be able to summon.

Successfully casted away the summoner, Yui rotates her wrist and uses her fingers to spin the Blade. The EVOKER flies like a boomerang around her hand. This is good enough to force the Snake to let loose the bondage and flee to avoid its head being chopped off.
Yui bounces up. While the fight seems to be well-matched in strength, Yui suddenly feels a great pain in her chest. So great that makes the invincible Dragon shrieks bloodcurdlingly!
She feels the pain coming from the deadly wound just made by the Daemon. "But why? I should have fully recovered"
Blood flows from her chest like fountain and floods the floor. That can't be!
The Snake grins. Ian Warosoku is a demon that can curse his opponent with "FEAR OF DEATH" once they have looked into those wicked eyes of green.

The Widow keeps moving closer despite her sympathetic words.
Yet the Fear of Death won't just paralyze Yui, but gives her HOPE too, ironically. Since she knows whenever she is in danger, HE WILL COME!
