As the first democratic country in Asia, ROC is known for their freedom …… right?
There have been a lot of dictators throughout world history. Castro has controlled Cuba for 49 years, being the longest in all dictators, and Chiang Kai-Shek, who controlled the RoC for 47 years, rates at 2nd place. (Which is, not so good to be ranked so high at.)
However, everything changed after 1987. Now, Taiwan ( RoC） got a No.12 rating in world freedom rankings 2020, which is the highest in Asia.
(Also, I think Taiwan was cover by China’s flag in the title picture……)
