Sweat dripped down Siren's face. Luke cornered her against one of the walls in the Hermes cabin. Ever since coming back from his quest that their dad sent him on, he hasn't been the same. He is no longer a happy person but a person with anger unable to control it. His fatal flaw is hubris, one that can get you killed.
"What do you want?!" Siren noticed a flicker in his eyes as they went from blue to gold. She panicked, "What is wrong with you? You've never acted like this before?" Luke's smile darkened.
"Nothing is wrong with me, but I want you to join me, for the world is changing." Siren pushed him away and shook her head.
If this was her half brother, is everyone like this in the Hermes cabin?
The Hermes cabin was full of Hermes kids and also kids that didn't know their godly parent. Since not knowing their parents, many of them hate the gods, anger shining in their eyes. Their faces are hard as rock when it comes to that subject. Siren never met her dad, never got any sign from him that he cared.
"Why should I join you and why are you saying the world is changing?" Siren ranted, "What do you mean?"
"Just calm down, Siren " Luke's voice had a dark tone to it. "Join me to fight the gods, for they don't care about their kids and you know that, Siren." His eyes showed sadness towards her.
"NO! I won't help you take down the gods even if they are our parents. We're meant to fight for them, not against them." She knew that if she made him more angry she could be in more danger than she is right now. No one understands how dangerous Luke could get.
A horn blew in the distance. She made her way towards the door, Luke stopped. "Everything said here, stays here. If you go on and snitch, I will know."
"I won't tell anyone, Luke, you can calm down!" Siren smirked.
"Now will you move out of the way so I can go eat?"
Luke moved to the right, nearly stepping on someone's sleeping bag.
