Third person's POV:
It was 12 noon-time of the day. Somewhere in St. Mary's Park, the sensations, sound, and aroma of autumn ignite the spirit of joy. The beautiful yellow and red leaves on the ground crumble under one's feet, the colorful butterflies spread their wings, flying. The sun shines bright, spreading warmth, and the sky is the bluest of sight. Group of teenagers chatting, sharing heartfelt laughter, and couples walking around holding hands. With every breath you intake, you get the smell of purity. You feel alive and free. A beautiful girl was playing around with a group of kids without giving a thought to the fact that she drew everyone's attention, making them smile.178Please respect copyright.PENANAgQKumEGUkq

There were a bunch of kids cheering and laughing out loud as they were playing the game 'frozen tag' with Briana. It was a game where the small boy, Aiden was 'It' and other players had to run away from him. If any other player has contact with him, then the person cannot move until someone unfreeze them. Aiden can win only if he freezes everyone. So, there are 3 more including Briana who is not frozen yet. She's trying to unfreeze others, but Aiden has caught her as his target.178Please respect copyright.PENANAhqQQ8XH5G7
"Briana sis! Don't try to save us. Protect yourself" As Briana continued running, a small girl, perhaps 5 years old, said in a cute voice, drawing Briana's attention to her. Before she could respond, Aiden snuck up behind her and leaped on her back, causing her to tumble to the ground as everyone sprinted over to them, jumping around. Watching them smile and laugh around, made her smile as well.
In this world filled with false hope, fake love, and fake promises, these kids and her brother are the only ones who could truly make her happy. With them, she could be herself without worrying about what others would think of her. With these kids around, she believes that fighting for people or things isn't always necessary to stay happy. Just walk around the world, and you'll find happiness in little things without sticking to one thing that you're unsure of whether they belong to you.178Please respect copyright.PENANADD1z6NMbiR

BRIANA'S POV:
After spending some time with them, I glanced at the time which showed 2:45 pm. As my brother's class ends at 3:15, It was almost time for me to pick my brother up from school. I waved goodbye to the kids and walked over to the bench next to my car and took a seat. I recalled the man who hit my car as I caught a glimpse of its headlights.
(Because she was too preoccupied with his thoughts, wondering who he was, she didn't notice a tall handsome young man taking a seat next to her, who also didn't notice her because he was preoccupied with his thoughts as well.)178Please respect copyright.PENANAxFk9ckcWfE
As I sensed the presence of someone, I turned around and was a little startled to see a man sitting next to me with his eyes shut. I took my time as I noticed him closely.178Please respect copyright.PENANA3TemYjSOAa
'Hm. He's handsome. But not as handsome as the man from the earlier incident though.' I wondered. 178Please respect copyright.PENANAAD49VohIyv
'Wait a minute, why am I thinking of him? He's just some egotistical dude who considers himself to be God. Hmph!', I sighed at myself as I pouted my lips.
"You could take a picture. I'm sure it will last longer." He stated this in a firm yet playful tone as he opened his eyes and stared ahead. "Huh? W-what?" I squinted, causing him to look at me, while I peered at him in confusion, not understanding what his words meant. He only shook his head before staring ahead, but I noticed a faint smile tugging at the corner of his lips for a second before pressing his lips firmly together and staring blankly. I followed his gaze and saw him calmly watching the kids play around. I deduced that he, too, adores the kids.
"If you had a time machine, would you like to go back to that age where you wouldn't give a damn about anything and just play around getting pampered by everyone?" He asked, and I narrowed my eyes at him.178Please respect copyright.PENANAIB0d5qWxnH
"Why would you want a time machine? You can just be the same right now too. It's left to you if you'd like to listen to people's judgment or not, but that shouldn't stop you from being or doing what you want. I get that as we grow older, we start acting like puppets to others' likes and dislikes. We follow around and work on others' expectations. We tend to do what others like the most but forget that we are not born to follow. We are born to make our destiny and rules. No one's going to stay with us forever. In the end, it always depends upon our choice. People may not be happy, but remember, sometimes you need to think for yourself. You need to be selfish when you have to. If you find happiness in something, don't let the world stop you coz you'll regret it in the future." I responded with a big grin as I noticed him lifting his brows and fixing his gaze on me before nodding, but this time I could see the corner of his lips curl upwards, which made me smile as well.
"You should smile more often, and you never told me your name", I added, but he didn't answer and ignored me, causing me to sigh. As I was about to get up, 178Please respect copyright.PENANA4DiL1UM0tC
"Zachery. Zachery Ashford", he said, and I smiled at him as I sat back on the bench and continued our conversation, sharing tiny details about each other as we looked ahead of us, watching the people around us pass by.
After all, he's not that bad...
