That day Daffi, Zinnia, Kai and Mike went shopping for a case.
They got a plain blue one from typo and Daffi was going to paint on it

Also, Kai doesn't wanna give up the case because Daisy gave it to him. He tries to keep her alive to him by keeping everything she gave him. Changing his case was a bit thing for him especially accepting her death. He later told Daffi this and Daffi knew what to paint on his best friend's case.
