A hot summer day. A girl is watching her little sibling play with the other kids at the playground. She sweats, overstimulated by the heat rays. A lovely tone every child knows plays through loud speakers of a nearby ice cream truck. Chaos ensues. Children everywhere want ice cream. Parents begin to form a line. Children bump up and down. Her younger sibling begs and pleads and she gives in.
A teen boy approaches her. The girl subconsciously gives the money to her sibling and hears their footsteps run off. He asks for her snap. She reveals she doesn't have a phone. Expecting him to leave, she looks around for her sibling. But he sits next to her on the rusty green park bench and sparks up a conversation.
"What's your name?" He asks. He stares into her eyes like he's found an angel and doesn't move until he hears her speak.
He recognizes the name and asks where she goes to school. They found out they're from the same school and he proposes that they should be friends. She agrees and they begin talking. They laugh, smile and blush uncontrollably.
As the sun sets they exchange house numbers and wave each other goodbye. Summer ended shortly after. They continued to see each other everyday at school and after the doors of school have closed.
Eventually he mustered enough confidence to ask her out. She accepted and they got in his car for a joy ride on one summer Saturday afternoon. They went to the amusement park and got food. They played games to which they lost money and he won her a big seal. They got on a Ferris wheel and while she stared into the distance from up above he stared at her. She turned to see his eyes soft and warm. She leaned in and so did he. They kissed and blushed afterwards.
He asked her to be his girlfriend and she obliged. They kissed again and he drove up to a hill where they could see the sunset. They embraced each other again and she fell asleep in his arms. Living happily ever after <3
