I got out of my car and slammed it's door close. I entered my apartment. I threw my bag and books on the couch and hopped on my bed, leaving the exhaustion behind. I hit the remote control button, the television blared as it released loud sounds and blinding light. "Oh, will you just look at that?" I told myself, half grinning. "After all what's happened today, I'm still lucky."—The Lord of The Rings is on HBO.999Please respect copyright.PENANAeZQTkd4d8s
I've decided to stay a little longer and watch my most favorite movie (and book) of them all, the LOTR.999Please respect copyright.PENANAUhgu9I45dD
A few minutes had passed, I'm still watching. It's on the part where Legolas climbs up on a mumakil (giant elephant) and shoots it with three arrows at once. It's my favorite part. I felt a smile slowly taking place on my lips, my eyes slowly shutting. The feeling gets deep, deeper and deeper, as if I've been shoved down to the bottom of a deep sea. 999Please respect copyright.PENANAw8SnvgK5Mz
“Ready?” I heard a deep voice that was full of concern. I turned to see who spoke. A man—no, an elf. A tall he-elf with a beautiful white-blonde hair hanged from his head down to his waist. Thranduil. I froze for a second, trying to catch up on what's actually happening. I scanned the view. Everything was shockingly white. White pillars stand at each side of the room. White flowers were neatly arranged on a path—Wait.. Is that an aisle? L-Legolas?! What?! Wait, seriously, what's happening? I was even more surprised when I looked at myself—I was wearing a white bridal elvish dress with patterns of loops embroidered on it. Oh.My.gods. I'M MARRYING LEGOLAS?!?999Please respect copyright.PENANAhVlsdodQhO
“Yes and no,” I suddenly uttered. I was stunned by it's suddenness to answer, I don't even have at least a slight idea on what's going on. Thranduil tilted his head to the side, as if prompting me to explain.999Please respect copyright.PENANAQJ2J1NXnRL
“I’ve been waiting for this day for so long, and I am beyond excited to be Legolas’ wife, but what if I don’t make for a good wife? Or I can’t give him any children? Or a few thousand years from now he decides that this was a mistake?” Okay, this is completely madness. My mouth once again spoke, it was like out of my control. “Thariel,” He placed a hand on my shoulder, “you have nothing to fear. You will make a wonderful wife. If you do not have children Legolas will not be disappointed, and neither will I. Children are not for everyone. Most importantly, Legolas will never see this a mistake, rather his greatest accomplishment, getting you to agree to marry him,” the elf king smiled gently, glacier blue eyes locking with mine. “Thank you,” I smiled back. Pretending to understand what he just said.999Please respect copyright.PENANAYYSZk91QJs
“Now,” he straightened and smoothed his robes, “is the lady to be escorted down the aisle?” He held out his hand to me. “Yes,” I took his hand. He lifted it to his lips and placed a kiss on it. He looked into my eyes for a moment before pulling me into a hug. I have never hugged the elven king before, because he's obviously fictional, but it felt natural. “I wish you all the happiness in the world, for all your years,” he whispered in my ear before releasing me. “My King,” I whispered back, and started to bow, as if getting what was really happening, but he stopped me from bowing by placing a hand on my cheek. “No, child. Today we become family,” he said. “Ada (Father),” I whispered, and threw my arms around him. Even I, was surprised on what I just did. He wrapped his arms around me and closed his eyes. "Le annon veleth nín, iell-nin.” (I give you my support, my daughter.) 999Please respect copyright.PENANA3Q8lM67CPB
"Hannon lle, ada,” Wow. Now I can speak elvish? I—my mouth replied softly. (Thank you, father.)999Please respect copyright.PENANAJtg9gWsiPO
He broke from the hug and gestured his arms. "Come now." he said. I placed mine inside his and started walking. I feel beads of sweat streaming from my forehead down to my chin. I'M MARRYING THE MOST FABULOUS ELF IN MIDDLE EARTH!999Please respect copyright.PENANADXgxwvtio2
And now, I was standing before Legolas, and the Valar (gods), and everyone in Mirkwood, about to say ‘I do.’ Thranduil placed my hand in Legolas’, kissed my forehead, and headed to his seat.999Please respect copyright.PENANArPVVQHztge
The ceremony went on. "I do." I heard Legolas' gentle voice spoke. Then the priest—GANDALF?!? Turned to me and asked the same question as the one for Legolas. "I do." I answered. Well, who wouldn't want to be wedded with Legolas Thranduilion? "I now pronounce you as man and wife. You may now kiss her, Legolas." Gandalf smiled. W-W-WAIT! WHAT?! KISS?! 999Please respect copyright.PENANAob4lSZsBDY
My eyes suddenly flushed open. Oh for the love of Zues! It was just a dream! Disappointed, I turned to face the window, the TV's still blaring. I was electrified to see Legolas laying next to me, staring at me with his icy blue eyes and cat-like smile. OH MY—999Please respect copyright.PENANAdLnaITZ7e5
