Nerd walked on the beach to check on the harpy named Tylophis. A very vicious and psychopathic Harpy.
The harpy woman seemed unmoved from her previous state. With misgivings, Nerd put his finger on the harpy's neck.
(Nah, still alive. Hm? They look so innocent when they're sleeping?)
Nerd immediately wrapped a rope around Tylophis' body. The white rope wrapped tightly around the feet.
“Wait a minute,” Nerd remembered something. Nerd then moved away a bit, looking at Tylophis who was entangled in the white rope.
“O-OH! Shrimp sushi! It's like the prawn sushi I ate in an Irish restaurant! Geez! So nostalgic!” Nerd commented on the shape he saw. “Ah, I'll try fishing later! Who knows you'll get shrimp! Hohoho!” Nerds are excited.
Then…
Instead of being picked up like a princess, Nerd has more of a drag option. Not because he didn't want to, but the bird woman's feet had sharp claws.
Nerd dragged her close to the building that he had made a temporary home while also taking care of the mermaid.
Meanwhile, the golem that Nerd summoned before, now sat bored while playing with the beach sand.
“Nice work, Golems,”
The golem turned to Nerd, gave a small nod, and gave it a thumbs up. Even its sandy face had a smiley emoticon on it.
Meanwhile…
“Mmmhmmmmh!”
There are two other shrimp sushi alike leaning to sleep near a tree. Avete and Doreris, whose mouths were gagged with rope, glared at Nerd as he dragged Tylophis and was shown before them.
“Huh? I didn't hear?" Nerd stuck out his right ear with a mocking gorilla face.
“MMMHHMMMHAMHMMMHHMD?” protested Doreris harshly and loudly but inaudibly.
"Yes, yes papa understand, uhouhouho!" Nerd chuckled. (It's fun to step on their pride, HAHAHAHA!)
Avete and Doreris were actually in the middle of a mermaid recovery instrumentation session, making a ruckus with the golems. They didn't expect that they would have to fight with a new creature besides Nerd, namely Golem.
Thanks to the golem who looked bored at the moment, the medical instrumentation for the mermaid's recovery went smoothly. After the minor surgery was done, Nerd told Mercy to look after their patient.
#Whoosh… Splsh…
The sweep of the beach waves drags all the negative aura. Including the nefarious Nerd who seemed to enjoy mentally torturing harpies.
Nerd turned to the light, calm wave in that instant.
(Lustenora… so calm….)
Nerds approached.
As if transported to the past, the memory refers to the words of the girl he remembers and loves. The ocean is exactly, reflecting the color of the sky. Without exception, the constellation stars shining on the black wall, were exactly displayed on that ocean.
(Colatta… the place you said did exist! Too bad… you are now… gone.) Nerd whispered in his mind, reaching out and holding the sand.
Calm… but immersive. Beautiful… but begs the question.
When a small wave came over, Nerd prepared to fold up his formal black trousers. Fortunately, he had taken off his shoes earlier.
Nerd crouched down, holding out both hands…
#Splash… whooosh…
Nerd and the wave seemed to shake hands. They seem like friends who know each other. Nerd's mind was instantly cleared. In an instant pouring a bowl full of dishes filled with memories and sorrow in the waves of the ocean.
(It's an irony...)
The sea water is now drowning Nerd's ankles. Nerd's mind plane resting. Nerd entered into his reverie. Calm and quiet…
Until,
Something beautiful happened.
Suddenly and spontaneously Nerd's mind plane was in its logical control.
(Light!? Could this be called bioluminescence?)
The surrounding pool of water at Nerd's feet gave off a phosphor blue glow. Even when both of Nerd's hands were dipped in the momentary pool of waves it also gave off the same light.
(Maybe… if there were other beautiful things…. Maybe Colatta would smile there?) A wide smile formed on Nerd's lips.
Suddenly…
"Doctor, sorry to interrupt. The patient is awake," she added. "But…"
“Huh? What's wrong Mercy?" The Nerd looked back, then stood up.
“The patient looked confused. Well, she's hostile to me,” she added in a low voice that unsettled Nerd. “So bad, right? As a humble Wraith, I just want to meet mermaids, you know!” one of Mercy's hands touched her cheek, while the other moved her fingers strangely. A crescent smile and slightly narrowed eyes are a sign that Nerd knows that Mercy is frustrated.
(Hoi, hoi! Why am I always surrounded by weird women!?…. But, thanks for being patient, Mercy!)
The Wraith is not like other ghost races. They are mostly introverted and never scare like other ghost races. They have hereditary attitudes and traits as royalty. They put a lot of importance on honor. They certainly didn't want to be seen as particularly special, but facing them like servants would only breed anger.
Nerd had studied the ins and outs and attitudes of all the races he had ever met. Including the Wraiths. The point is, the Wraiths don't want to be treated badly, not to be overly flattered. And the Wraith, really hates stupidity.
“F-fine, I'll be right there!”
Nerds ran.
The bored golem scratched its head seeing Nerd running around. While the two harpies who saw Nerd immediately cursed at him. There is no day without cursing even in conditions that are not easy.
“Wait a minute, shrimp sushi!” Nerd replied, then kept running.. “Adios!
“Mmmmm? MMHMHMHMHMHM!!” The harpy got even more emotional with Nerd's stupid face.
Nerd now reached for the lignum wood door that matched the wall color, pink and had a soft, nylon-like texture.
#Cekrek, ngeek….
"He-" just started to open the door, Nerd was out of words - words even just touched half.
Nerd slapped his forehead. Nerd immediately saw why Mercy was frustrated.
The patient's bed is turned upside down. The infusion hose had been dislodged and its contents had flooded the floor. Drug storefronts seem to be demonstrating with each other. Even the small bucket used to clean the wound had spilled and scattered it everywhere. What is clear, in a few seconds, that room is like a crime scene where a murder or theft crime is found.
Meanwhile the mermaid…
“H-helloooo!? I-I need help!” she raised one of the Defibrillator's arms as if it were a transmitter.
Nerd turned to look at Mercy. His face was still smiling, but the wrinkles on his neck, the rising and falling of his eyebrows made Nerd not want to engage her in conversation.
(Geez! What kind of misunderstanding is this!?) Nerd slapped his forehead again.
When Nerd stepped in, the mermaid started reacting.
"Do not move! More than this!" her tone was very firm despite being threatened. She was positioned on the floor.
“Miss… this must be a misunderstanding….” Nerd approached her slowly.
Not even close. Every time Nerd took a step, the mermaid backed away. She willingly lets go of the Defibrillator's arm.
"I said, don't move!" The woman then turned to the side and saw a plastic bottle of medicine lying on the floor.
With a kind heart, she gave the plastic bottle. Unfortunately, by throwing it with force.
The nerd wasn't aware of the movement…
#Plock. Srggg!
Mercy's right hand reached out and caught the plastic jar.
"O-oh .., thanks, Mercy,"
"No problem, doctor!" she said smiling. There is no day without a friendly smile for the doctor for Mercy.
“I… just need to give her some courtesy perhaps?” The squeeze on the jar reinforced the alarm signal in Nerd's mind.
“O-oh… y-tell me your opinion, Mer-mercy?” Nerd stammered.
"Now, now, for starters, how about we break her forefinger, doctor!?"
The words were gentle, but the fact that what Mercy said was not gentle at all.
(O-okay, I'm more sorry to ask Mercy…)
The situation was precarious, although it wasn't dangerous, it was enough to create a deep misunderstanding situation. It could be worse. Nerd immediately cleared his mind. He wished he had peace of mind.
#Hffffffffpp! Woooh…~
The nerd took a deep breath, then exhaled fluidly and with relief.
"I'm a newcomer to this planet, please calm down!" Nerd bent his body, while his knees touched the floor.
