"I think there's something off with this guy"
"Whom are you talking about?"
"Of course, about Rishi"
It became a habit of Jiya to read and analyze it. She always used to discuss it with Aisha. It used to be annoying for Aisha. But this time she didn't feel annoyed. She showed interest in her words.
"I do think this. He is a weird guy. But I am also curious about their relationship. Let's read further.", Jiya was shocked to hear these things from Aisha.
"Well, don't you want to sleep, Aisha? It's already 4 o'clock. We have plans for tomorrow"
"So, we need to sleep. Don't you think the time passed too fast." unlike other stories Aisha showed a keen interest in this novel. She followed every chapter and carefully read it.
~~~~~
"Morning Jiya"
"Yup, morning. By the way, what's today's plan?"
"We were going to Wet and Joy in the morning but it's late now. So reschedule the plan."
"Just tell me where are we going right now!"
"Right now we will be having breakfast."
Jiya felt Aisha's hands on her shoulder. She pushed her out of the room and locked it up. On that day the weather was perfect. The sun wasn't showing off and the wind was not soo fast. That weather just relaxed Aisha from her heartbreak.
After having breakfast they went boating. It was all greenery on the bank of pawna lake. It was dancing to the rhythm of calm air. The water was cold and warm inside, which just reminded Aisha of her college days. About the guy, she loved the most. And a spark of a smile showed up on her face.
"Finally you are happy!"
"Aa.."
"Your smile, it's the prettiest thing in the whole world."
"Maybe.." it was a sour reply with a sweet face. Jiya understood that something was up.
"Are you missing Gaurav? I mean are you..."
"No, I am not."
"Then?"
"Well, just a memory passed by."
"What was that memory, it can make you forget about Gaurav and bring a smile to your face?"
"Nothing important. Just focus on the view. Isn't it pretty!"
"Hmm... Pretty enough to bring your buried memories back." Aisha just kept quiet. She understood Jiya's words but decided to remain silent.
Their next destination was one of the famous temples. It was known as Prati Pandharpur. It was quite a religious place where the chanting was going and the whole atmosphere was turned spiritual. It was a place where you can resolve your thoughts peacefully. The place where your mind is just clear, so clear like a sky sunny day. You connect with yourself and meet the divinity in you. The threads get tied strongly which were tangled and you feel eternal and internal happiness. The place where your desires meet an end and you just want yourself with you. And Jiya was lost in this peaceful atmosphere. She felt herself one with the earth, with the air, and with the land, she was standing on. Aisha was quietly looking at the statue, the statue of the almighty. As if she was begging for the answer, the answer to the questions she always desired. But damn that statue of stone was silent as always. And his damn silence pissed her off. That tangled threads didn't resolve but were screaming for help. And she heard them. Every scream was making her restless. And her restless mind didn't have peace at all. Not even the food she had, ease here
Their journey went on. They climbed Fort Lohgad and arranged a place for the night. It was the night they planned camping. They lighted the fire on the bunch of woods tied together. They took sit around the born fire.
"Is there anything that's been troubling you? You can lower your burden. Maybe I can be of any help. Why don't you tell me? Well, that memory also brought tears to your eyes. What was it?"
"Why don't you ignore it? Just let it be. I don't want to answer your questions. But I can tell you one story.."
