In response, Goku teleported behind Other Goku and mimicked a blast attack, causing his adversary to turn and block. Goku seized the opportunity, teleporting behind Other once more and delivering a powerful punch to his back.
Taking the battle to the skies, Goku teleported above Other, launching a kick that sent him hurtling earthward. Irritated, Other Goku charged back at Goku, who met him head-on. The agonizing scream that followed marked the end of Other Goku's transformation as he reverted to his base form, hurtling uncontrollably toward a desolate, solitary planet.
Goku gracefully touched down on the planet's surface, while Other Goku's impact was far less forgiving, causing a cataclysmic explosion that left a colossal crater in its wake. Goku approached the fallen adversary, his power reduced to his Super Saiyan form, which was more than sufficient to finish the battle. He turned in their direction and, as a precaution, increased his power slightly to potentially dissuade them. To his astonishment, they continued to draw nearer until he could make out two distinct figures.
