Having grown up around the colosseums on the island city, William had always dreamed of becoming a trainer and challenging pokèmon leagues before returning to challenge the colosseums. He never got the chance to start his adventure until he was older, helping people around Pokètopia with Pokèmon daycares to better understand how to deal with pokèmon. He left for Hoenn since his parents had told him about growing up there along with stories from relatives. His friends wished him well as he left, telling him they'd be rooting for him until he got back.
(I know I've used the name William before, funnily enough for pokèmon, but this isn't him. I just really like the name)
