We live in a world

where we don't see greys

hatred and heartaches

come out to play.

Violence and anger

run loose in the street

tears and compassion

are just for the weak

the societies we once knew

have started to fail

in truth this old world

is headed for hell

because brother hates brother

and no one's your friend

you can't win a battle

when it has no end.

This world is spiraling

out of control

we strive to fix it

but we move way too slow

while the wolf howls

right at our door

driven straight to the core

and as we keep spiraling

out of control

and instead of fighting out

we just go with the flow

we just keep falling

until it's too late

til it's down to the wire

and we must choose our own fate
