Even in hollowed halls, the repetitive torment always continued on. Where hardwood creaked and cried from pressure of every footstep, and doors wailed as they were moved from their frames. Windows screamed as they were opened, and that pitiful clock grinned as it continued on with its catchphrase.

A mansion that stood in the middle of an overgrown forest where trees were outstretched and disfigured by old age and nature's work. Vines threatened to strangle the exterior, creeping up and wrapping around every surface and crevice. Cobwebs were worn as a veil for the patio, hiding the past behind a web of lies.
Lights flickered on and off, here and there, practically everywhere. The TV, dusted over would occasionally flip the channel's news. Static cracked aloud, droning on before the familiar reporter sat on its face.

The screen blacked out almost immediately and a figure stood there, lookin over the living room. Eyes completely crazed, and short hair that was a ruffled mess. One hand, held a knife that dripped with blood and the other hand gripped the decapitated head of the poor victim. His sadistic gaze was held for a long time before a snicker that evolved into psychotic laughter echoed out, bouncing off the walls.

The walls were smothered in blood, red handprints on the floor and on the furniture. A few limbs having been removed along the way, a massacre of the residents. Pictures were shattered across the floor, and bodies were dragged through the shards.
"Love me? Who you? Last I checked you shunned me! Last I checked I discomforted you!"
With dead eyes locked onto one another through the mirror, one could see the split. The fear that threateningly sparked in the reflection versus the homicidal pride in the other.

The giggles echoed and with a single moment of eye contact, the house flooded black, engulfed in an endless void...
