Several hundred years later, Vera grew up to be a beautiful young woman. She was walking in the forest with her face covered in a red dress and it was long to her feet. She stopped walking when she noticed something around her.
" Even though you are hiding, I can still smell you being half horse.", Vera looked at the big tree and a Centaur man came out of it.
" Sorry if I'm following you but I've been noticing you in this area for a long time. What are you doing here in the forest of darkness?", the Centaur asked the girl in front of him in surprise.
Vera smiled at the Centaur and removed her mask from her face, the Centaur was surprised to see her red eyes. He was afraid and took out his sword and aimed at the girl.
" Have you never seen an Ameadan?", Vera asked the Centaur in fear.
" Ameadan? The Ameadans were long consumed throughout Alexandria. Are you one of the Terranians they say live on the plains?", asked the Centaur who was afraid of her.
" Terranian?", Vera thought. So she used her power to put the Centaur to sleep and it passed out. She walked into the dense forest while the Centaur pulled by her power floating in the air.
It was late at night when the Centaur woke up in front of the hearth to warm him. He also noticed the soft bed so he stood up immediately in fear but suddenly the girl came with something to eat for him so he was stunned.
"Don't be afraid, I won't hurt you. Eat first and leave tomorrow, it's late at night and there are many wild animals in the forest." ,Vera said calmly to the Centaur who was afraid of her.
"I am Vera by the way. You? What's your name?", asked Vera smiling at the Centaur so it calmed down in fear.
" I am Lord Drazhan, I am a Prince of Centurions. Why did you bring me here, Vera? What do you need from me?", Lord Drazhan asked the girl who put the food aside and sat down.
" I want to know what is happening in Alexandria. I haven't been out here in the forest of darkness for hundreds of years. Have you been to the plains?", Vera asked eagerly.
Lord Drazhan was stunned by her questions so he didn't answer right away.
" I'm sorry, I just want to know about the changes in Alexandria. I want to go there but I don't want any creature to feel my power especially when they see me like this.", Vera said sadly.
Lord Drazhan thought about what the girl said, he also noticed that she was alone and had no company.
" I've been to the plains but I'm just next to the forest, I see the big buildings they built and strange things that I can't even see here in the forest." , Lord Drazhan said calmly and Vera was listening to him with a cheer.
" You said you've been living here in the forest for hundreds of years, why do you still look like this?", Lord Drazhan asked in surprise. Vera smiled at him.
" You really haven't even seen an Amadean in your question. We grow old for a long time especially when we have a rare power that is different from everyone else.", Vera thought as she looked at the fire.
" Why are you alone here? Aren't you afraid to be alone?", asked Lord Drazhan wondering at her.
" I am not alone, the forest is with me and I have never felt fear in my life except for one time.", Vera remembered when Lord Devian saved her.
" Eat to rest, I'll take you outside tomorrow morning. It is still difficult to get out of this palace that is full of protection against outside creatures." Vera just smiled at Lord Drazhan and walked out of there.
It was late at night but Lord Drazhan still couldn't sleep, wondering about the girl's personality. He decided to go out of the room to check his surroundings, he noticed a room that was bright while its door was not quite closed.
"What is this room?", Lord Drazhan wondered as he looked inside. He was so surprised to see Vera standing in the middle of the weapons that he didn't hesitate to run to the girl and cover her. Vera was stunned by what Lord Drazhan was doing.
" Don't be afraid, I will protect you. ", Lord Drazhan boldly told Vera.
" Do you know who you are protecting, Lord Drazhan? ", asked the man standing in the dark. Lord Drazhan was stunned when he looked at the man. It came out of the darkness and Lord Drazhan was surprised to recognize it.
"Minister Devian! ", Lord Drazhan bowed to the man with long black hair and brown eyes. .
" Isn't he worthy of being my guardian while you travel? He is the one I chose to be with for the time being. What can you say, Lord Devian? ", Vera asked Lord Devian watching the Centaur crouching in front of him.
Lord Devian used his power and the Centaur fell asleep, Vera was stunned by what he did and looked at the man.
" What else are you looking for in a warrior, Lord Devian? I find in Lord Drazhan that he can be trusted and I know he will not abandon me while you are away. ", Vera said angrily to Lord Devian who was silent.
" You know I'm only doing what's good for you, I'll be gone for a long time so I want to make sure of your safety. Your majesty, since you turned the Ardenians into ashes, your disappearance has been a big puzzle. You are the one the prophecy says will lead Alexandria, until this day they are still looking for you.", Lord Devian said this with concern for Vera.
" I know but I can protect myself against creatures that want to hurt me. Since you joined the Empire as one of the Ministers, you haven't been with me for a long time. Why do you have to enter the Empire and become one of them?", Vera asked Lord Devian.
" Your Majesty, I will take back Alexandria for you, that's why I'm doing it.", answered Lord Devian while Vera was stunned by what he said.
" You are the one the prophecy has been saying for a long time to rule Alexandria so I will fulfill it, you will return to the empire and sit on the throne, this is what I swear to you.", Lord Devian answered boldly.
