The village is called Patrick’s Hill, named after the ancient Catholic saint of German origin. And tiny Patrick’s Hill drew the attention of many artists. However the local inn was too expensive so the many artists decided to camp. The TARDIS landed on a leaf-covered pathway just south of the village. Vicki is the first to walk out the doors; she caught a whiff of the cold autumn breeze. The two men follow Vicki down what feels like a steep hill. The walking lasted for minutes and the sun is all but gone. They finally arrive at the village inn. They opened the door and leaves came tumbling in, the innkeeper wasn’t pleased. The Doctor walks up to the innkeeper and hands him a piece of paper that looks like an identification card. The innkeeper then directs the time travelers to some vacant rooms. He was trembling like he had just met a king. The Doctor and Vicki share while Steven gets his own. Steven then gets out of bed to dry himself off. He puts on his coat and joins the Doctor and Vicki outside the inn. The streets and pathways of Patrick’s Hill are covered in endless piles of rainbow leaves. Vicki plays around in these piles while the Doctor tries to walk through them. Vicki then runs to hide behind a bush and after a few moments, she runs back out wearing a bathing suit. Vicki then dives into the lake and begins swimming. She ignores the Doctor’s warnings and enjoys the crisp and fresh feeling of the water. As she swims, the old painter adds her into his masterpiece. A few moments later, Steven dives into the lake, creating a huge splash. The painter adds Steven into his painting as well. When the old man has finished, he asks the Doctor to look at it. The old time traveler likes the painting, but he seems to recognize the old painter. The old man packs his stuff in a brief case and waves to the Doctor.
