Larus screamed!
Please somebody save me!
His blood was boiling from the scorching heat of the mysterious subterranean cavern as he desperately leaped over rocks and boulders trying to escape. Bleeding and exhausted Larus stumbled, crawling to the edge of a steep waterfall. Peering out over the ledge the bottom was one hell of a drop, perhaps 50 feet or more.
My God! Please help me! He glance behind, hearing the creatures whooping, closing the distance.
How can this be?
It all started out as a beautiful sunny day in the wilderness of Peru. Birds singing, squirrels busily chasing each other merrily around bushes.
Wow!
Larus paused, listening closely as he heard the silent rushing of the nearby river. Ahh, Autumn, a wonderful time of year. Breathing in the cool morning air Laurus was overwhelmed with peace and tranquility. Hiking and hunting had always been a part of his early childhood and remained so. Everyone knew that the woods was his stomping ground.
He was not afraid,
Larus knew these woods like the back of his hand. His sons were back in the cabin today because he desired to be alone. Larus looked forward to his peace and solitude with mother nature and all it had to offer. Boy! He thought, maybe that enormous, Peruvian Red stag with the huge antlers would put in a appearance again.
His 11 point antlers would look good as a showcase hanging on his fireplace mantel.
That's what I'm talking about!
Larus continued walking, the woods serene and silent, when he heard a loud splash coming from across the river. Then came several loud splashes that seem to be heading towards him. Hmm, thought Larus, maybe it's a bear? Then suddenly he heard a loud snap. Oh! Could it be that monster buck!
Ooo! I sure hope he's coming my way.
Ahh, man, ever so silently Larus holstered his 308 rifle raising it to his shoulder. His heart was pounding fast as he pondered his next move.
Whoop!
Came a strange sound Larus had never heard before. What in the hell was that he wondered?
Whoop, whoop,
Eya---hoooo!
The hair on the back of his neck stood up, he thought what kind of animal could this be? Man! Larus had never heard that peculiar type of animal call before. The sound rose in volume like a runaway freight train and it was all he could do to stay calm and sane. Larus noticed movement to his left, a flash of black, it moved so fast he could scarcely believe it!
Hmm, It must be some adolescents playing some type of prank.
Ok, boys he yelled, if this is joke it's not going to turn out well for you.
Knock!
Larus jumped, circling around trying to see who it was.
Knock, knock,
it sounded like somebody was pounding a stick against a tree. Alright boys! The game is up, as far as I know bears don't carry sticks. But silence came the only response. Ok, boys, messing with a hunter carrying a loaded rifle is a stupid idea! Larus stood up walking in the direction of the knocking noises, he thought he would see the adolescents at any moment.
Boy!
These must be some of the dumbest kids in this neck of the woods. Obviously they are not aware of the danger they are placing themselves in. Pranking a hunter with a loaded gun, they must be suicidal! Larus was walking when he noticed that a black figure was shadowing him through the forest.
Hey!
Dumb asses!
I am really starting to lose my patience here! Now run home to your mamas before someone gets hurt. Larus walked a few more feet when unexpectedly, he heard a loud swishing sound. And out of the blue a large rock landed at his feet.

The rock was large as a basketball and it came from about 40 feet away. There wasn't a human in the world that could make that throw! A chill ran slowly down his spine and the hair on the back of Larus's neck stood straight and erect. Could it be, came the thought?
Naw!
Sasquatch is only a legend, there's no such thing or creature!
Hogwash!
Another large rock came sailing through the bush and then another. Out the corner of his eye he caught movement. So grabbing his binoculars Larus pointed it in the immediate direction. Instantly a hideously loud scream greeted his ears and he could feel his heart sink in dire fear.
There!
There it was!
It looked like something from a Stephen King horror movie but worse. It was partially hidden behind a tree, standing with one arm wrapped around it. Long, stringy hair hung from its body. It was hair, definitely not fur, the hair was heavily matted with leaves and debri.
My God!
That thing must be at least 8ft in height! This isn't possible. Monsters are not supposed to exist! Even though Larus had his 308 caliber rifle by his side he wasn't that confident. But all of a sudden the bigfoot took a leap backwards with fear, looking up. At the same time, something landed in the trees above. It was getting dark and hard to see, but, through the moonlit sky emerged a pair of giant, glowing eyes.
Startled he almost dropped his rifle, Larus could scarcely believe it! The creature in the tree over his head had red glowing eyes about the size of a saucer! It was about 7ft in height with batlike wings and...
"You can consider yourself very lucky came a telepathic message."
Larus whirled around his eyes wide open.
Who?
Who said that Larus cried?
He looked in the direction of the Bigfoot but it had fled. I'll return for you but first I'm going to teach that Bigfoot a lesson. The creature smirked as he flapped its large, enormous wings and took off. Like hell, Larus thought, I'm not waiting around for that abomination to return! Shocked, beyond belief he ran falling head over heels into an enormous cavern.
So, that is how it all began and now he had to decide what to do. He wasn't certain that he would survive the jump above the waterfalls but certain death was behind him.
Hey!
Larus cried as he went sailing headfirst, down the waterfalls. Who pushed me? It is I Kiki, came the response. Larus glance behind him to see Kiki falling to the bottom with him. What possessed you to do that Larus hollared!
I wasn't going to jump!
"I know, that's why I pushed you," said Kiki. The mothmen would have most certainly killed you. Larus said, "I don't think so, not with this magic crystal."
He patted his shirt pocket, the crystal! Larus shouted, as he spotted it falling silently towards the water. I sure hope that pool below the waterfalls is deep Kiki. Kiki said, don't worry it is. It also looks like we have company waiting on us.
Take a look!
Larus looked down and groaned. Jeez, I can't believe it, don't they ever give up. I thought we lost them. Kiki said, "When we hit the water don't try to surface." There's an underwater cavern beneath the waterfalls that we can take refuge in. Larus exclaimed, "What about the crystal?"
It'll take care of itself, Kiki said.
They hit the water with a loud resounding splash and dived deep down immediately towards the underwater cavern.
Larus abruptly felt a solid object against his flesh, startled he reach into his shirt pocket and lol and behold, there was the magic crystal again. Larus cried, the crystal returned to me Kiki! I have it again. But all Kiki heard was a lot of underwater burbling. Larus looked up, just in time to see Kiki stumble out of the water into the underwater cavern.
Come on Larus, whispered Kiki, quit fooling around in that water and climb up here.
Brr...Larus said, this cavern is cold as he heaved himself out of the water. Why is this depressing cave so cold in a tropical climate
Kiki?
Why?
Why, why, exclaimed Kiki, you ask too many questions.
Larus said, well, where do you supposed the hairy apes and mothmen are? A sinister voice cackled, don't be concern human! We have been waiting patiently for your arrival. Larus was startled to see a horde of sinister mothmen surrounding them. The creature closest to him was their leader.
Aru bellowed, hand over that crystal now human!
There is no chance of escaping for you or your smelly little companion.
Larus yelled, "Oh yeah!" Well say hello to my little friend!
And he janked the crystal out of his pocket diving for cover. In the same moment the magic crystal emmited a brilliant flash of white light killing several mothmen.
Ha! Larus cried, there's more were that came from!
You want some more!
Stop!
Stop this at once, yelled an authoritative voice!
Larus shifted to his right to see a beautiful, blue, skin colored woman approaching them.
