This game is bonkers. It made me laugh more than it made me feel weird if you know what I mean. It has a lot of flaws and a looooot of improvements. Like there are crashes sometimes, more battles than story, features not complete, overcrowded servers, and...last but not the least, how they wrote the story.
But anyways, for my review...

What in Hell is Bad is a mobile app that was released in...October 7 or somewhere there. I'm not looking it up and I'm just giving a quick rundown which is easy and fast to understand.
Anyway, as of writing this blog, this game was newly released. And I pre-registered for this bad boy because the 2D men are HOT! According to what the game devs are advertising, it's a NSFW game with demons vs angels. So basically, like the NSFW version of Obey Me of sorts.
TLDR, the story goes as this: You, the MC, almost got killed by an angel. Your childhood friend sacrificed himself to save you and before the angel can have another go at you, a demon saved you. In return for saving your childhood friend's life, you go to hell with the demon and help them as Solomon's descendant. Your mission is to free all 72 devils from the contracts made by Solomon and save hell from the angels.
I don't want to spoil much for those who want to play the game so I'll continue on with my grading system. And here we go!
Graphics. 9/10.
Very beautiful and breathtaking cards. But I don't get why they have these kinds of art only to half-ass it with Satan's default sprite. As much as I love him and I'm a Satan main, his default sprite is U G L Y!
His Selfie Card(one of the four cards equivalent to an SSR) and CG arts are making me forgive that half-ass sprite. But then I have to see that ugly side of him during the story. Eugh. Oh, and their chibis also feel so rushed and half-assed lol. Not the ones in battle, cause that's cute but the ones in the Secret Club, where you can go touchy with them.
Also, let me just say as a special mention.
HAVE YOU SEEN THOSE THIGHS ON LEVI?!?! Like daaaaaaaaaaamn. Is it bad that I wanna leave bite marks on his smooth skin? Lmao
Sound. 10/10.
*insert Patcha meme* Perfect moans and groans. My favorite is Phenix. Nothing sounds like PLEASURE like him. Oh, and I also love it whenever I'm messing with them in the Secret Club. Fave O face: Satan. Totally not because I'm a Satan main.
Gameplay. 7/10.
Eh. It's so grindy but then I'm not in a rush so I can do that slow and steady. It's like a weird tower defense but I'm cool with it. There are too many battles tho and I kinda wanna read the story already.
Storyline. 4.5/10.
Yes, I did say that I wanna read the story and the battles are just going on forever. BUT! As a writer myself and a reader of smut, this game is a BAD example lmao. If they're aiming for an NSFW VN, they flubbed it. You're going to get turned off by the words they're using.
But it's understandable since this game is not restricted and minors can still have access to it. However, they're playing hopscotch between making it the NSFW VN-like game that they promised and a VN game for all ages. In the end, that indecision makes this a hodgepodge of a mess.
Value. N/A.

All and all, and to be fair, this has been weirdly hooking me. I usually get bored easily with VNs with bad translations. The VN UI is okay, but is better than FGO which looks like it's a default RPGmaker dialogue box lmao. The story is interesting to me. The graphics and sounds are amazing! But dudes, omg, I kennat with how they write the hot scenes lmfaooo. 😂
Oh, and the gacha for Greater Keys, which you can use to pull for your boys in the gacha, is baaaaaaaaaaad. I think the banner where you use Greater Keys are like the featured banners. A little better with the updates now and thanks for the 300 Lesser Keys, which are used for what I think is the standard banner! They're all gone btw.
