Valentina grew up in brikenberge, as a child of two successful vampires she aged slowly and as soon as she hit 25 she didn’t age at all. Valentina’s parents, Nari and Connor, don’t like how the town welcomes humans. You can imagine their disappointment when their own daughter brought a human to town.
growing up Valentina had everything she could ever want/need and more. One day Valentina found out, through town gossip, that there was a human girl on the run around the borders. Valentina decided that if she was going to do one good thing in her life it would be to help this child, being 346 at this point was certainly a disadvantage as she doesn’t know what’s “hip” with the young humans, nor their slang.
Serine must have certainly been confused as to why this woman who spoke like she was from the 18 hundreds offered her refuge. While on the lookout for Serine, Valentina did everything she could to stay under her parents noses about wanting to help the girl, as her parents would surely disapprove.
when she was successful in bringing Serine to the town to say her parents where livid is an understatement. Her parents do not agree with her friendship with the young siren, sometimes Valentina had to sneak out to hang out with her friend.
