Capture the moment.
To some, it may seem deep, to others, just the ramblings of some girl who they will never see again and will soon slip their memory. But in reality, it's just an instruction. Capture the moment, the moment you say goodbye, the moment you say hello, the moment you think couldn't be happier. It could be in memory, it could be in a photo, heck, it could be in an essay or a short story.
But life, no matter whose or for how long, is a gift. It doesn't seem fair that someone should have that gift and leave nothing behind to show that they had it. A faded photograph, a page torn from a diary about a first kiss, a memory someone has of their best friend going on a roller coaster with them hesitantly and screaming at the top of their lungs until their voice is raw is all that may be left behind of someone once they are gone, but if someone knows they are gone, then it is all worth it.
Capture the moment, because I love being able to look back at the important things in life. Capture the moment, because in your darkest days that small pinprick of memory may be the only light left.
Capture the moment, because the moment is more important than you may think.
