I am a twenty-something bibliophile. I have been reading stories for as long as I can remember and a year or so ago, I thought I would try writing some. I am so glad to be able to share my work with other aspiring writers and I look forward to reading your submissions.
This short story is a tale of a petty thief in an iconic American city (try to guess the location). An unnamed narrator waits on the pier for his next victim to cross his path. It was supposed to be an easy: just grab the cash and run. But he found out that some people don't make for good victims. It contains a little bit of jazz and a whole lot of supernatural. Let me know if it spooked you.
