He's coming up the stairs. There's not much for me to do. I can jump out the window, it would be fast: No torture no prolongation of pain, suffrage, death would be a finger snap away. Making his way up the old wooden stairs; for the very first time I hear creeks. It is said that those who take there life will go straight to hell. Would I be an exemption. Or is it to late to believe in a so called "god". Is it to late to ask for forgiveness. I mean we all have to die, but will I die today. His cold stone heavy feet reach the door, my heart begins to pump faster. As he begins to bang on the door With panic i open the window and hide in the closet. With The door sounding like it can't take another hit, bang after bang it seams its trying to protect me. Shield me from evitable end. The door can't take it any longer it burst and shatters into tinny millions of pieces as if it was made of glass. That's when my heart skips a beat and falls deep into my stomach. Sweat rushes down my forehead and my ears begin to ring. Nothing can be herd anymore, its dead silent. The night starts to rain; lightning flashes and thunder begins to roar. The moons light illuminates the room through the only window.

A fresh breeze and the smell of wet dirt filled the atmosphere. Through the shutters of the closet I see the shadow of a tall figure at the door. At this point the only thing thats going trough my mind is two simple questions. Does he know im here, and what does he want. With a blink of an eye what that unfortunate mice in the walls herd as a faint foot step; I herd as a stomp. As the shadow begins to ascend into the room my ears take the dreadful suspense. "Liza; Liza; Liza" my eyes widen and my teeth clutch shut. My hot skin that was just sweating turns into scales and my body instantly cold as ice. "Do you really think I forgot about you; Liza Cage." with a swing before he finished his sentence he smashes the pictures on the wall "I'm so-sorry Liza, after all you and Raymond wont last very long." as he brings down what looks like a long stick and continues those dreadful slow stomps. That deep smooth southern accent pierce's my ears, and creates goose bumps all over my body. Who is he? As I continue looking at the shadow through the shutter I see him smashing picture frames, bed lamps and every single beautiful memory's I have collected throughout the years. Even the ashes of my beloved welsh corgi Brownie, a gift from my parents when i was twelve scattered all over the floor. "Liza Cage Public Defender" he pauses, "Five years!" screaming he walks towards the feet of the bed. "but see," Walking into the moon light, "I know more of you then you can ever imagine".

Standing infront of the closet my heart begins to slow down. I can see my life flashing before my eyes, 28 years of a life, from the first time I rode a bicycle to my moms death and just a year and a half ago when I met Raymond. Its all going to end. Holding my breath, and my eyes closed nothing could be herd. I was ready, hoping that where ever I end up will be a better place then this. I open my eyes, In the the far distance police siren's. I exhale and inhale. Feeling the blood fill my veins and blood rushing to my toes. I'm alive and the tall shadow was gone.
